A Zoat

Zoats are members of a large, rare woodland race which many consider legendary. [1a]

Occasionally they will associate with Wood Elves[1a] or human Druids and elvish songs sing of Zoat warbands aiding their settlements attacked by Goblins. [2a][3a]

SomeSpellsingers have sought out Zoat wizards in order to learn from them, as their control over the wind of Ghyran is greater than all but the most learned of mages. [4a]

Appearance

A Zoat is a powerful centauroid being with trunk like legs and a large torso with muscled arms, standing 6-8 feet in height with a broad heavily armoured skull. They have large eyes and wide mouths to match their huge brains. Theirs scales range in colour from purple through to brown but they do not wear armour or clothing. [2a][3a]

Society

They are led by mystic warrior-wizards who in battle use guttural battle cries and frightening philosophical truths. [1a]

Weapons and Equipment

They favour large staves tipped with a black stone. [2a]
