Warhammer Quest is a fantasy dungeon adventure board game produced by Games Workshop, set in the Warhammer Fantasy universe. The game was first released in 1995 as a follow up to Games Workshop and Milton Bradley's HeroQuest.

Game
Warhammer Quest sees players take control of a group of Warriors as they seek fame and fortune as they navigate their way through various adventures across the Old World. The base game was designed with a party of four players in mind and as such, adopted the same four archetypal Warriors that had been used in HeroQuest: the Barbarian, Wizard, Dwarf, and Elf.

Supplements
Warhammer Quest received a number of supplementary expansions following its initial release. These came in the form of Adventure Packs, Warrior Packs and Treasure Card Packs. A short-lived magazine series titled Deathblow was also published that contained a range of articles relating the game.
Adventure Packs
Three Adventure Packs were released for Warhammer Quest. These typically included new enemy models, new Board Sections and new Dungeon, Treasure, Event cards.
- Lair of the Orc Lord contained six new adventures that pitted the Warriors against the Black Fang Orcs of Mount Gunbad.
- Catacombs of Terror contained six new adventures that pitted the Warriors against the Undead forces of the Dread King and the necromancer Gunther Laranscheld.
- Pits & Traps contained two new Board Sections, a rotating counter, and a Rulebook. No new models were included. This expansion was only available through direct mail-order.
Warrior Packs
Eleven Warrior Packs were released for Warhammer Quest. The first nine of these included a metal miniature of the Warrior, along with a short Warrior-specific rule booklet, one or more Equipment Cards and a Warrior Counter. The final two Warrior Packs, the Halfling Thief and the Kislevite Shaman, were only available through direct mail-order and contained just the Warrior-specific rule booklet, with no miniatures, cards or counters included.

Card Packs
Three Treasure Card Packs and one Blank Event Cards Pack were released for Warhammer Quest.
- Treasure Card Pack 1 contained 54 new Treasure Cards.
- Treasure Card Pack 2 contained 54 new Treasure Cards.
- Treasure Card Pack 3 contained 54 new Treasure Cards.
- Blank Event Card Pack contained 17 blank monster cards and 4 blank event cards for players to create their own custom adventures.
Deathblow magazine

Deathblow magazine was a series of supplementary compendium magazines published by Fanatic Press for Warhammer Quest. The magazine ran for a total of 3 issues published between 1999 to 2000, with each issue containing a combination of popular Warhammer Quest articles from previous issues of White Dwarf and The Citadel Journal, along with a selection of newly written articles.
Legacy
In 2016 the 'Warhammer Quest' name was revived with the release of Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower. Silver Tower loosely maintained the original's dungeon adventure game design but employed a substantially revised and updated ruleset, with adventures taking place in the Warhammer: Age of Sigmar setting. Four more tabletop board games have since been released by Games Workshop with the 'Warhammer Quest; moniker: Warhammer Quest: Shadows Over Hammerhal in 2017, Warhammer Quest: Blackstone Fortress in 2018, Warhammer Quest: Cursed City in 2021, and Warhammer Quest: Lost Relics in 2022.
