Belthani
The Belthani were a group of tribes of humans in ancient times. [1a]
History
The ancient Belthani migrated north to waystones infused with the magic of Ghyran. [1a] During the War of Vengeance, the Dwarfs recognised the potential of trade with the tribes whose ability to grow crops was a useful resources as the centuries-long war raged on. [2a]
Modern Druidic families see themselves as descendants of Belthani shamans. [3a]
Religion
The priests of the Belthani believed waystones were sacred to Ishernos, god-and-goddess of nature and the seasons, and the nature spirits that lived near them. Triskeles and other symbols were carved into the sacred markers, called Ogham stones. The waystones eventually developed divine properties in addition to their original intended purposes. [1a]
