Ranald is the god of Thieves and Tricksters. It is claimed that he was once a human who managed to trick Shallya, goddess of Healing and Mercy, into becoming a god.

Symbols

He is generally portrayed as a charming human male, a rogue who is an incomparable thief and con man.

Beliefs

Although he is associated with crime, he believes more in the act of illusion over the actual act of theft. He does not condone violent crime and forbids any violence except when in self defence. His enemies are authorities and violent criminals, while his friends are non-violent rogues and entertainers. He has no formal holy days.

Cult

Worshipped throughout the Old World's larger towns and cities his worship is restricted to the underground which his followers occupy, and as a god of thieves, his worship is officially proscribed.
