Company Pages
Which real world companies do we need to maintain pages for, and how should we decide? Obviously Games Workshop needs one, and I would argue its subsidiary Forge World does too. What about makers of the RPGs, like Green Ronin, Hogshead Publishing, and Cubicle 7? If they get pages, do we make them for licensed video game developers like Mythic Entertainment (WAR), Creative Assembly (Total War), etc? Or do we decide to simply link to external pages, possibly their company homepage or a Wikipedia article? –SolkanSays (talk) 19:50, 7 March 2024 (UTC)
- I think a short entry like I did for C7 should be enough? maybe with company logo and a few images. --Viktor (talk) 20:51, 7 March 2024 (UTC)
Lexicanum Forums
There is a new Lexicanum Forum to discuss issues. Please make sure to read the Forum Guidelines first. --Inquisitor S. 21:59, 27 September 2006 (CEST)
- The above forum no longer exists. The Bell of Lost Souls forum closed as well, along with the Lexicanum sub-forum there. The Lexicanum Discord is active, and we should use this page again too. --SolkanSays (talk) 03:20, 17 January 2024 (UTC)
General article structure
Hey, Looking at the Trivia article and trying to search for, it seems that this lex does not have an article on General article structure or example pages. [40k lex] seems to have one, should we refer to that one? More, could we have an example pages with headers for different types of articles? Seeing quite different collections of headers, for example Empire Provinces differ from eachother quite heavily. Same for characters, battles etc. A brief example of the idea:
Location/Nation | Character | Battle |
Overview History(with subheadings if neccessary) Goverment Heraldry Culture Military Locations Notable Gallery Miniatures Notes/Trivia Templates Sources Categories |
Overview Family History(with subheadings if neccessary) Abilities Weapons & Equipment Gallery Miniatures Notes/Trivia Templates Sources Categories |
Overview Previously Battle Aftermath Order of Battle Gallery Notes/Trivia Templates Sources Categories |
Haven't checked how Wikipedia handles this, but there probalby is something that could be of use as well. --Dige (talk) 15:22, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
