If you want I can reduce the size of your talk page by archiving sections of it, like this [1].--Ashendant (talk) 11:46, 24 May 2018 (MDT)

Sounds good - thanks --Viktor (talk) 13:04, 24 May 2018 (MDT)
Done. As an extra note I made a better list of missing characters here.--Ashendant (talk) 13:14, 24 May 2018 (MDT)
Thanks - looks good - Working through the short stories on MP at the moment :) --Viktor (talk) 14:10, 24 May 2018 (MDT)

Splitting Daemon Articles

I'm currently going to split all the daemons articles one by one into Mortal Realms and World-That-Was content, using warscroll and product description content to make new Mortal Realms articles and move to rest to World-That-Was article. I've started with the Great Unclean One in the Mortal Realms an Great Unclean One in the World-That-Was article and would like to know your opinion on it. Feel free to add stuff to it if you can.--Ashendant (talk) 06:24, 28 June 2018 (MDT)

Thanks - massively hectic at work again but will take a look. In some ways Daemons are the least effected by the destruction of the World-that -was or indeed any other world - as they are timeless and eternal as long as thier patron allows them existance? I think most others can be done. Will be picking up the new Soul Wars novel and AOS 2nd ed and hoping for a big infusion of information - annoyed that Neferata book is only Lt ed :( --Viktor (talk) 12:01, 29 June 2018 (MDT)
Don't worry about it. Update it when you can.
Daemons are likely the less affected yes but there are two reasons why the split. The settings are so vastly different that even Daemons suffer from the differences. The old articles are badly sourced and sometimes starting with a fresh perspective might be best.
I know there's lots of new stuff from the previews and leaks. The most important will likely be the Malign Portents book.--Ashendant (talk) 15:24, 29 June 2018 (MDT)

Organisation Charts

Do you have the organisation charts for the Nighthaunt or the Daughters of Khaine.--Ashendant (talk) 18:12, 2 August 2018 (MDT)

Do you just want a list of the hierarchy in the Processions? --Viktor (talk) 11:14, 4 August 2018 (MDT)
Didn't notice this post. What I needed I think you already posted in the Nighthaunt#Captains of the Host article. How each types of units are grouped into larger ones so we have more consolidated articles. Those 6 subdivisions (Deathriders, The Condemned, Chainguard, Execution Hordes, Death Stalkers, Shrieker Hosts) are subdivisions similiar to the Idoneth Castes and the Sylvaneth Type articles you wrote right?
Well with the exception of the Chainrasp Hordes which appear in 2 subdivisions? is that correct?--Ashendant (talk) 17:06, 9 August 2018 (MDT)
Not really, the subdivsions are less like the enclaves etc as those are more like nations, these are more military formations and are also the names of battalions in the battletome. When i get time I'll write a bit more on each on that page --Viktor (talk) 01:18, 10 August 2018 (MDT)
So they are not usable subdivisions? The Stormcast Eternals have Conclaves, like the Angelos Conclave and the Khrone Bloodbound have the Gorechosen article. Are the Chainrasp Hordes in both The Condemned and Chainguard?--Ashendant (talk) 05:27, 10 August 2018 (MDT)
hmm maybe - the big differences seems to noen of them are subfactions and that different units can be in multiple subdivisons - so the Chainrasp can be in both - I'll write some descrptions.--Viktor (talk) 06:00, 10 August 2018 (MDT)
Done - let me know if you want it as a sperate "Processions" Article? --Viktor (talk) 06:23, 10 August 2018 (MDT)
Ideally we should have a different article for "warbands" of every faction, like Fyreslayers Lodges, Bonesplitterz Warclans, Bloodbound Warbands, Stormhosts.
My issue is that I want to create articles like Sylvaneth sub-types and the Stormcast Conclaves so as to compact the various Nighthaunt unit articles into a few. We might still use those if even if we have to copy Chainghasts twice... Do you have an image of the organization chart itself?--Ashendant (talk) 06:50, 10 August 2018 (MDT)
Found one online: [[2]] as I don't have a camera and can't scan the book --Viktor (talk) 08:00, 10 August 2018 (MDT)
Yeah that's exactly what I needed. Ill try to do some cheating in regard to the chain rasps, but it'll allow me to make much more compact articles.--Ashendant (talk) 12:41, 10 August 2018 (MDT)
Here's what I'll be somewhat aiming for: Shroudguard--Ashendant (talk) 13:07, 10 August 2018 (MDT)

Owls in City of Secrets

Could you check your copy of City of Secrets and update this article Bird of Prey in the Mortal Realms with what form does Owls appear in it?--Ashendant (talk) 07:13, 4 August 2018 (MDT)

I think I just have the preview rather than the full novel - I'll have a look though --Viktor (talk) 11:14, 4 August 2018 (MDT)

Uploading better quality images

If you want to upload a better quality image over one that already exists, you just need to click the "Upload a new version of this file" link under the File History section, like this File:From the Deep cover.jpg#File History--Ashendant (talk) 14:55, 16 August 2018 (MDT)

Neferatia

With the Core Book having an entire section dedicated to the Prime Innerlands we need to discuss how to proceed relating to the Neferatia article and using it as an example, here is my opinion:

  • Realm of Shyish: We make a short list of the larger regions, instead of giving it each their own sections. <nowiki>Turn it from a ==Neferatia== to a * Neferatia:<nowiki> with a short sentence about it in front.
  • Prime Innerlands and Neferatia: Leave it as it is, as what you did is perfect. Maybe add a bit of information on what surrounds Neferatia--Ashendant (talk) 19:24, 6 September 2018 (MDT)
Are my latest edits in line with the above - I think thats what you meant? --Viktor (talk) 13:35, 7 September 2018 (MDT)
Kinda yeah, but I was more asking your opinion. :P
I wanted to make a good system before we progressed. For example I think most of the content from the Prime Innerlands in the Realm of Shyish should be moved to the Prime Innerlands article, only containing a large description of the Prime Innerlands themselves and a short list of the biggest names of the region. That way we could keep adding stuff to the Realm of Shyish without making each section unnecessarily large.
I am actually off work for some of today so might have a play :) --Viktor (talk) 02:42, 8 September 2018 (MDT)
We also need to find the complete maps to upload. I have the book but I don't want to wreck it. :( --Ashendant (talk) 13:57, 7 September 2018 (MDT)
Okay I found some good, even if incomplete maps.--Ashendant (talk) 14:27, 7 September 2018 (MDT)
Thanks for tyding up - seems to work alright? I signed in at work and foud that it spell checks the edits -which mine does not do at home! --Viktor (talk) 15:42, 8 September 2018 (MDT)
It depends on the browser I think. You can install a spellchecker addon on your browser. It does look much better, through it still needs some polishing which I shall do later.--Ashendant (talk) 16:00, 8 September 2018 (MDT)

Duplicate Cover

200px|old

Is there any particular reason why you uploaded a second Auction of Blood Cover? There are slight differences between the two, but I don't think that warrants a new upload.--Ashendant (talk) 14:39, 15 September 2018 (MDT)

Thats wierd - I looked in the covers file and could not find it! Can you delete please--User: Viktor
I usually find these by using this category Category:Age of Sigmar covers and using Ctrl+F to search for it.--Ashendant (talk) 14:54, 15 September 2018 (MDT) Thanks for the tip :) --Viktor (talk) 14:55, 15 September 2018 (MDT)

Race Categories

When making new character articles don't forget to add categories for their races like Category: Aelves or Category: Humans--Ashendant (talk) 16:31, 13 November 2018 (MST)

Good job about the racial category, but don't forget their jobs/unit/function category like the Waywatcher in your most recent article.--Ashendant (talk) 12:57, 14 November 2018 (MST)

Maleneth

Is Malenenth an actual Shadowblade or just an assassin?--Ashendant (talk) 04:23, 19 November 2018 (MST)

Hmmm, well she is a Khainte Assassin but loads of stuff is not defined as yet in her background - ie what happened to ehr when the temple cliamed her - so i guess we could put her as an Assassin in the Daughters of Khaine list but then she also fits the Shadowblades escription and as its ambigious can change later if its defiened? --Viktor (talk) 10:47, 19 November 2018 (MST)
I rather her not be attributed to a faction she was never stated to be part of, even if the Shadowblades are particularly secretive. In my opinion she should be a Order character, but i'll leave it to your discretion.--Ashendant (talk) 11:25, 19 November 2018 (MST)
I'll change to her generuc Order then - hopefully we will get more info on her in due course. --Viktor (talk) 11:31, 19 November 2018 (MST)
So since you changed it, is she now a specifically stated a Shadowblade assassin?--Ashendant (talk) 20:29, 21 December 2018 (MST)
yep she is - or at least was: Quote from the book Maleneth felt herself uniquely qualified to judge – a shadowblade of Khaine, now an agent of the Order of Azyr. so do we add her to the Shadowblades list of characters or keep her as generic Order charcater or even both? --Viktor (talk) 03:29, 22 December 2018 (MST)
Well if that's the case then make the Shadowblade character list. If they later change their minds about it then we can change it back once again.--Ashendant (talk) 15:53, 22 December 2018 (MST)

Gazul

If possible could you expand the article about Gazul in the Mortal Realms with any information you have from the same book as this Gazul-Zagaz article you wrote?--Ashendant (talk) 20:31, 21 December 2018 (MST)

There is very little else - it looks like there might be more in the new book by Josh reynolds but I don't have that yet. --Viktor (talk) 03:29, 22 December 2018 (MST)
Add anything you can find there please. Maybe their adjective or a title they give to their god.--Ashendant (talk) 15:53, 22 December 2018 (MST)

Gerot or Garot

Is the character mentioned in this article Order of Final Rest, called Garot or Gerot? or is it 2 different characters?--Ashendant (talk) 14:53, 24 December 2018 (MST)

Ancestor Gods

Since it seems that you have Dwarfs: Stone and Steel and it has a religion section, would you mind updating the individiual articles of each of the individual Ancestor Gods? I kinda regret that I butchered the articles when I tried fixing them for the Mortal Realms, but I don't have any sources that would allow me to properly do it. If you don't want to feel free to ignore this request.--Ashendant (talk) 09:36, 20 January 2019 (MST)

Will do :) --Viktor (talk) 10:07, 20 January 2019 (MST)
This has been nagging me for a while as half of them are sourceless and we don't have any information on Valaya to write anything that isn't already on the Ancestor Gods page. Anyway thanks!

In order to create a template appropriate for World-That-Was deities I created Template:Deity box. Since the deities of the Mortal Realms are not exactly the same as those of the World-That-Was I need you to tell me what adjustments you want me to make to the Infobox.--Ashendant (talk) 14:15, 20 January 2019 (MST)

Not sure: It kinda works at the moment but maybe Friend and Enemies as sections, Regions worshipped? They used to have alignment but that was dropped in later editions. Most of the rest is game stuff like skills, tests and spell use. --Viktor (talk) 14:25, 20 January 2019 (MST)
We could also drop certain sections like Home and Status, which doesn't seem to apply to the World-That-Was(and well the End Times makes Status kinda of a moot point).--Ashendant (talk) 14:30, 20 January 2019 (MST)
Yeah although they have done stuff like Total war and connected novels that go for alt ending - more like Storm of Chaos or WFRP 2nd edition... Got the new Inferno book so should have some good stuff to add over the next week or so, --Viktor (talk) 14:34, 20 January 2019 (MST)
So you think it's better to wait for you to check that up before I put any further work on the Deity Box?--Ashendant (talk) 14:38, 20 January 2019 (MST)
No sorry I think make the changes you suggest, just being chatty! Once done will add the other Ancestor Gods in same format. --Viktor (talk) 14:42, 20 January 2019 (MST)
Removed Status, Adjective, Home and Aspects.
Added Friends and Enemies.
Tell me if you need any further changes to the box.--Ashendant (talk) 15:01, 20 January 2019 (MST)
I'm a bit confused on the ancestor god family tree, wasn't one of the dwarven gods the child of Grimnir?--Ashendant (talk) 16:12, 20 January 2019 (MST)
Guess it was a typo.--Ashendant (talk) 14:43, 21 January 2019 (MST)

On the topic of gods what do you think of this.--Ashendant (talk) 16:43, 28 January 2019 (MST)

I think it works well - will try it with a few more but off to bed now :) --Viktor (talk) 16:55, 28 January 2019 (MST)
I didn't split the gods of Law on purpose. The section becomes too small and they are still chaos gods. Problem is I can't figure out how to do sub-sections on the Nvbox without overcomplexifying the code and I really don't want to do that.--Ashendant (talk) 09:33, 29 January 2019 (MST)
Hmm I don't see how the Gods of Law are Chaos Gods any more than any other diety - they all inhabit the Realm of Chaos and are aspects of the same? I don't however have Apocrypha Now, or at least can;t see it on the shelves. Not fmailiar with the Nvbox stuff really I am afrraid as there are some other subdvsions (Elf gods are really two seperate groups) --Viktor (talk) 10:56, 29 January 2019 (MST)
Well by that definition all gods would be chaos gods. I've heard in many places that they are a form of chaos gods, but eitherway this is part that cinchs it for me that Gods of Law are Chaos Gods. "The Gods of Law are as old as the Gods of Chaos - Law being but one possibility of the infinite possibilities of Chaos."--Ashendant (talk) 15:53, 29 January 2019 (MST)
Yep all gods are warp entities so essentially Chaos Gods - the quote is the only bit thats not in the 1st WFRP book but I don't seem to have Aporcypha now so can't check. I think your bracketing them works fine - happy if I do the same for the different "courts" of the Elves? Did the Gods of the Empire page work alright? --Viktor (talk) 06:01, 30 January 2019 (MST)
I don't think that's technically true, or atleast it seems like AoS retconned that for non-chaos gods.
Yeah sure you can do bracketing for the elf gods and add the provincial gods too.
It's a much better page than the original Old World Pantheon, through now we have to figure out what to do with that page.--Ashendant (talk) 08:45, 30 January 2019 (MST)
Sorry, I meant the Old World pantheon--Ashendant (talk) 09:56, 30 January 2019 (MST)
I'll have a play with it if I get a chance tonight and see what else can be included .... Re Chaos nature of Gods - it might still be true - just that they are independent entities, even the Incarnates like Sigmar, Alarielle or Nagash are embodiment's of the Winds of Magic - which is just Chaos energy. Interesting philosophically and I seem to remember something in the Elvish army books talking about it - maybe the Daemeon ones as well. Will have a look. I also always subscribed to the view that the Chaos Gods never want to win the war as they actually did with the End Times as then there is no more fun with the Mortals and that is one of the reasons we later get the Mortal Realms. Maybe change the name of the old World pantheon to Gods of the Old World? --Viktor (talk) 10:30, 30 January 2019 (MST)

Splitting Articles

Hey if you find any article that mixes Age of Sigmar with Fantasy Battles sources, please add it to the list on Lexicanum: To-Do List, so I can properly split or move the content to the appropriate place, temporarily or otherwise.--Ashendant (talk) 14:46, 21 January 2019 (MST)--Ashendant (talk) 14:44, 21 January 2019 (MST)

RPG Editions and Books

Hey, these seems to be some confusion with this Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay (2nd Edition) article. Are you using it to represent the Core Rulebook for the Second Edition or the 2nd edition itself?--Ashendant (talk) 12:19, 23 February 2019 (MST)

Hey - I was just listing the supplements on the same page as something likely to be relevant? I was going to do the same with my 1st Edition and 4th supplements - unless you feel it needs to be a seperate page? --Viktor (talk) 12:25, 23 February 2019 (MST)
We can't have the page for the Core Rulebook and the Edition itself be the same as that could led to confusion problems.
Ideally the books of the series itself should be their own list. Kinda like this one, but better: [3], through it should look more like this User:Morbus_Iff/Better_Books.
Sorry if this is a problem.--Ashendant (talk) 13:01, 23 February 2019 (MST)
If you want we can also use the current method you're doing and later review it at a later date~, when you've fully finished it.--Ashendant (talk) 13:24, 23 February 2019 (MST)
Ok I'll have a look at making another page. Also can you delete this page as I had a typo Terror in Talebheim (despite checking it repeatedly) thanks --Viktor (talk) 16:53, 23 February 2019 (MST)
Delete done. Thanks! We can't really have a page about the edition as a whole and the corerulebook.--Ashendant (talk) 17:03, 23 February 2019 (MST)

Orgam Kor

I've noticed that a while ago you added a lot of Pantheon of Order content to the Orgam Kor article. Is there any more info on those minor gods and Manarchael that you mentioned on that article or that's just it? I would like to make articles about them.--Ashendant (talk) 12:52, 30 March 2019 (MDT)

Sadly thats about it - I was going to put the River god Manarchael in the Gods section but not got round to it - I assume he is a god of the river Chael but its never stated. --Viktor (talk) 15:25, 30 March 2019 (MDT)
Okay then, added all the info i had on Manarchael and the Pantheon of Order. Feel free to add any more info you find to those articles.--Ashendant (talk) 19:16, 30 March 2019 (MDT)

History section of the Mortal Realms articles

I was updating the Realm of Aqshy article and noticed it contains a lot of history that is about specific portions of Aqshy, most notably the Great Parch. I think we should remove alot of these, since I already added all of the information to the region article, and just leave it at information that is specific to the overall Aqshy, like the Brimstone Peninsula and the Volc-Giants being overthrown. Before I do this I would like to know your opinion; do you think we should simplify the Realm article pages and history sections?--Ashendant (talk) 06:36, 31 March 2019 (MDT)

Tricky in my opinion there are quite a few major events that happen in the Parch that are also Realm shaping so keeping some of these would be good - eg the first arrival of the Stormcast in the Mortal Realms? --Viktor (talk) 14:44, 31 March 2019 (MDT)
Yeah I'll likely keep that one and the Binding of Ignax, among a few others. Problem is things like, "set a forest on fire to keep the orruks away".--Ashendant (talk) 18:48, 31 March 2019 (MDT)

New Character List Template

Hey, to simplify the sub-lists portion of the character list I made a template that should make this a lot simpler to work with. It's currently implemented only on List of Unaligned characters. Tell me what you think of it, and of any other feedback, so I can make changes before I do the rest of the factions.
Because of conflicting article names, I'm not doing this for the Age of Sigmar list until the Lexi Splits.--Ashendant (talk) 12:06, 6 May 2019 (MDT)
Put a bit more work into it. Now it has a link to the general list, blood bowl and racial lists--Ashendant (talk) 14:43, 6 May 2019 (MDT)
Thanks, will have a look tomorrow as off to bed now. --Viktor (talk) 15:57, 6 May 2019 (MDT)
Looks good, I did wonder if there should be a gender column? having an Unalingned Faction is good, will populate once agreed :) --Viktor (talk) 05:53, 7 May 2019 (MDT)
I wanted you to look at the Template at the bottom of the page, this thing Template:Character Lists/Unaligned, and give me your opinion.
I'm done with the Unaligned faction, feel free to do whatever you want with it.
I think Gender is an unnecessary column mostly because you can just add an "he" or a "she" to the description column to work. Other lists like Known Members of the Sons of Mallus which have more detail, and have no description.--Ashendant (talk) 09:49, 7 May 2019 (MDT)
Ah I see - I think it does a good job - not sure about the sub pages? Dragons are often of a particular faction - unless you are linking to their general race page? Take you point on Gender--Viktor (talk) 10:30, 7 May 2019 (MDT)
It links to the sub-page of that faction, in this case all Dragons in the Unaligned faction. For example, the High Elves list would have the Dragon and Elf Sub-pages as possible. The objective to this is to homogenize and simply those sub-lists at the top of the page, so we only have to edit them once, rather than 5 times, each time we want to make a change and as a bonus we get all template that links to all character lists.--Ashendant (talk) 10:39, 7 May 2019 (MDT)
Feel free to pre-emptivly replace the current sub-lists with the templates at the bottom of the page. I'm creating all of these by the end of the day. If you want you can make the sub-templates yourself too, since they are super easy to make.--Ashendant (talk) 10:52, 7 May 2019 (MDT)
OK will do - I think I have done it right since the High Elves one is ok, I'll focus on populating the basic lists first and then if time will look at the templates :) --Viktor (talk) 11:00, 7 May 2019 (MDT)
Don't worry if any template is broken, just keep adding them. At the end of the day I'll add every single one and it will automaticly fix all of them.--Ashendant (talk) 11:02, 7 May 2019 (MDT)
When making new lists, please remove the second sentence of the Intro paragraph, like I just did for a bunch of recent ones. It had a really bad typo and it is redundant thanks to the new template. Anyway I'll stop making edits now and do the rest later tonight.--Ashendant (talk) 11:23, 7 May 2019 (MDT)

Didn't Shar'tor the Executioner became a Character in the Age of Sigmar character series? Or am I missing something?--Ashendant (talk) 10:14, 9 May 2019 (MDT)

No sorry thats my mistake - I was looking for characters to fill gaps and did not read closely enough - had assumed the Legion of Azoth models would be in both wrolds but just been looking through Tamurkhan and can;t find it. --Viktor (talk) 10:22, 9 May 2019 (MDT)
Eh mistakes happen. Just remove it when you can, but first see if in Tamurkhan there's any named or noteworthy Bull Centaur.--Ashendant (talk) 10:35, 9 May 2019 (MDT)
sadly none!--Viktor (talk) 15:18, 9 May 2019 (MDT)

Well I kinda finished this Talk:List of Characters of the Warhammer World. Now we just need to remove from the list what's done.--Ashendant (talk) 15:11, 11 May 2019 (MDT)

Well done - I will have a look :) --Viktor (talk) 15:13, 11 May 2019 (MDT)
I hope it's of any use. Will not touch it for now.--Ashendant (talk) 15:36, 11 May 2019 (MDT)
Very useful - I made a first pass and will update when done some more - will do for the rest of this epsiode of the Expanse --Viktor (talk) 15:50, 11 May 2019 (MDT)
It has a lot of characters... I should probably check the categories in this wiki and make another list.--Ashendant (talk) 15:52, 11 May 2019 (MDT)

Dynamic Lists

So I just discovered that DynamicLists work on the Lexicanum as can be seen on Lord-Aquilor article. This allows to make some lists a lot simpler. For now we won't update anything else with it, but we should consider expanding a lot of pages with it after the split. Still I would like to know your opinion on it.--Ashendant (talk) 17:46, 29 May 2019 (MDT)

I don't really know what they are but anything that makes life easier is welcome! Is there a template or guide to how they work, how best to tuse them - do you just enter the name of a category? Only minor thing it was nice to have a bit of a discriptor about those in the list but its no big thing. --Viktor (talk) 07:30, 31 May 2019 (MDT)
https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:DynamicPageList_(Wikimedia) Here's the best guidelines of how they work.
In essence you just write the category you want to make a list of. Not category just remove entries that are in that category.
The descriptor and source is a minor loss, but I think it worthy over having an automatic list. We will not apply this to everything, but lists of characters of a unit, like Lord-Aquilor and minor groups like Shadowhammers, should have them for simplicity's sake. But only after the split.--Ashendant (talk) 09:05, 31 May 2019 (MDT)

Pestilens Source Numbering

I don't know if you notice but you are giving the same source numbering, [8], for both Skaven Battletomes in the Skaven Pestilens article.--Ashendant (talk) 11:43, 10 June 2019 (MDT)

Thanks - will sort :) --Viktor (talk) 11:46, 10 June 2019 (MDT)

Authors in Source

Hey just so we know we will no longer add author in sources. The 40k Lexi will stop doing and to reduce complication we will do so too.--Ashendant (talk) 10:15, 23 June 2019 (MDT)

Ok thanks will do so moving forward. --Viktor (talk) 10:55, 23 June 2019 (MDT)

Arch-Regents or Archregents

Does the Battletome Flesh-Eater Courts call Abhorrant Arch-Regents like you put on the Lexi or as Abhorrant Archregent like the warscroll says it does? Or is it a case of alternating between both? Don't worry about correcting. I'll do any changes that are needed.--Ashendant (talk) 12:05, 1 July 2019 (MDT)

Looking back looks like its my mistake.--Viktor (talk) 12:39, 1 July 2019 (MDT)
Don't worry I think I probably made the same originally with the Miniature image name.--Ashendant (talk) 14:09, 1 July 2019 (MDT)

Tome Celestial

If you can, could you please update this page Tome Celestial with any relevant information you might have.-Ashendant (talk) 14:59, 7 July 2019 (MDT)

Started - however I can't edit the new images pages to put the category for some reason - won;t let me log in on that page even when logged in on other windows. Will do the rest when I can. --Viktor (talk) 12:01, 8 July 2019 (MDT)
I was only asking you to edit that page and put the covers, but thanks and congratulations from going beyond what I asked you too. Did you solve the image issue.--Ashendant (talk) 13:51, 8 July 2019 (MDT)

List of Units update

I've decided that at some point we are going to need to need to update the units list, most likely long after the Split. I built a prototype (List of Moonclan Grots units) and would like to know if you have any feedback on it. Thanks!--Ashendant (talk) 09:21, 21 July 2019 (MDT)

Sorry work is mad at the moment so not really very active.... looks good - nice and clear --Viktor (talk) 16:46, 23 July 2019 (MDT)

Updated this list again. Added other allegiance and remove properties from files that were distorting the image. It should look much better now. Still trying to figure out if I should fuse Faction and Grand Alliance columns and what I should replace it with, if at all.--Ashendant (talk) 05:13, 27 July 2019 (MDT)

If you merge them suggest Alligience or Keywords --Viktor (talk) 05:23, 27 July 2019 (MDT)
Yes if this change happen I will change them to Allegiance when this update goes lives as I need to change the top of the bar and it changes for every unit list. I'm still not sure if I should.--Ashendant (talk) 05:31, 27 July 2019 (MDT)
Allegiance is a good catch all title so should be safe --Viktor (talk) 05:43, 27 July 2019 (MDT)
That's not really the issue. My issues is whetever I should fuse them, and what I should do with the empty column that's left behind. ID suggested using the pitch battle profiles, but some of those are empty so it doesn't work--Ashendant (talk) 09:23, 27 July 2019 (MDT)
Does he mean Battleline, Behemoth etc as I can see that would work for those that have them, does it matter if a few older ones are blank? You could use Race but it would be a bit repetative? --Viktor (talk) 12:20, 31 July 2019 (MDT)
Yes that's what he meant, but we can't really leave blanks here. It would look badly when we can just leave a collumn for grand alliance. Race doesn't work either, not only because of what you said, but also because of ones with multiple races.--Ashendant (talk) 12:50, 31 July 2019 (MDT)

Faction Navigation Templates Prototype

Like the List of Moonclan units I decided to create a prototype template for a list of future faction navigation templates to be applied after the split here: Template:Lion Rangers‎‎. If you have any suggestions I would very much like to hear them.--Ashendant (talk) 08:24, 1 August 2019 (MDT)

So would this be at the bottom of the page or instead of the main info blocks? just concerned if the latter the page will look a bit empty? --Viktor (talk) 14:15, 1 August 2019 (MDT)
This would go at the bottom of the page, like there is the template for other mortal realm deities in the Vultza. After we treat everything properly we should then remove the tables of units and characters as they are somewhat cumbersome. The navigation template + well maintained lists should be everything we need. The character row in the template should be dependant on the faction, with those with a lot of characters, like Stormcast, should only have special characters. The reasons why the faction would look empty is because we have yet to add images to them. We should be able to look at everything properly after the split, meanwhile we can brainstorm things like this, so when the split happens we already have some work done.--Ashendant (talk) 14:51, 1 August 2019 (MDT)
I've decided to expand this prototype to everything addressing the Lion Rangers faction. I will not do the rest of the factions until the split is properly done, as this is more testing the waters with a faction not likely to be expanded by GW. Any suggestions or opinions?--Ashendant (talk) 17:20, 2 August 2019 (MDT)
seems to work - the Lion Rangers may get some more info (or be changed/deleted) by the new Free Cities battletome --Viktor (talk) 05:51, 5 August 2019 (MDT)
Yes, precisely. If you have any issues, suggestions or opinions tell me.--Ashendant (talk) 06:18, 5 August 2019 (MDT)

Taal

I realized that the Kharza article had a mention to Taal. As such I created an article with the information in there. If you have anything please add to it: Taal in the Mortal Realms. Thanks!--Ashendant (talk) 06:40, 4 August 2019 (MDT)

Sadly nothing more than a mention of the name... --Viktor (talk) 05:47, 5 August 2019 (MDT)
Thanks! That's enough for me.--Ashendant (talk) 06:14, 5 August 2019 (MDT)

Image Quality

Can you check the Azyrite Arbiters article and tell me if there are any differences between images?--Ashendant (talk) 06:39, 8 August 2019 (MDT)

Nothing that I can see!--Viktor (talk) 10:46, 8 August 2019 (MDT)

Iron Legionary Weapons

Do you know which weapon can Iron Legionary from Iron Golem in battle? I added the miniatures gallery but I don't know which weapons to put on Captions for those guys.--Ashendant (talk) 15:46, 10 September 2019 (MDT)

Sorry I only have the rulebook and it does not list units or weapon options --Viktor (talk) 05:55, 11 September 2019 (MDT)
Okay thanks!--Ashendant (talk) 11:50, 11 September 2019 (MDT)

Death Hag or Hag Queen

This image you uploaded a while back is supposed to represent a Hag Queen right? File:Death_Hag_M01.jpg--Ashendant (talk) 13:47, 18 September 2019 (MDT)

She was a Death Hag in the World That was but the store now describes her as a Hag Queen. see [4] --Viktor (talk) 13:58, 18 September 2019 (MDT)
Yeah I know that, I was just wondering if there was any reason why you called her a Death Hag? Was this an image uploaded before the DoK Battletome?--Ashendant (talk) 14:13, 18 September 2019 (MDT)
It might have been - sorry I really can't recall. Might have been still calling her that back then. --Viktor (talk) 14:14, 18 September 2019 (MDT)
No Problem thanks!--Ashendant (talk) 14:17, 18 September 2019 (MDT)

Source

Just a little warning in the latest articles with beastmen you forgot to put the actual source. It just has the chapter and pagenumber.--Ashendant (talk) 09:05, 2 October 2019 (MDT)

Ah sorry - copy paste error --Viktor (talk) 11:12, 2 October 2019 (MDT)

List of Units

Sorry I had to revert your edit. Lists of Units are supposed to have their entries all in the singular. Same for article names in the case of Crossbowman.--Ashendant (talk) 12:52, 15 November 2019 (MST)

Ok but doesn't match the actual unit names. --Viktor (talk) 12:55, 15 November 2019 (MST)
Articles in most cases should be in the singular for both coherency and wiki standards. In this case don't think units as a group, but rather as a class or a job.--Ashendant (talk) 13:10, 15 November 2019 (MST)

Forum

I've created a Forum so we all can have a more indepth, communal discussion on edits and updates to the Lexicanum, while at the same time making it far easier to follow. Check it on the Lexicanum:Forum article.--Ashendant (talk) 14:12, 16 November 2019 (MST)

Self-Referential Category

Hey, just want to say we are stopping with categorizing articles with the same name as the category. For example the Skaven Warlord should not be in the Category:Skaven Warlords category.--Ashendant (talk) 18:00, 12 December 2019 (UTC)

No problem :) Is the Skaven Category work otherwise ok? --Viktor (talk) 21:12, 12 December 2019 (UTC)
Yes, no problem with that. We have to many redundant categories with only themselves as an entry and I want to avoid that in the future.--Ashendant (talk) 21:53, 12 December 2019 (UTC)

Lists of character

I'm afraid to say that those phrases you're adding to the lists of characters will have to be deleted. There is a template on the bottom of the page with that link.--Ashendant (talk) 10:56, 13 December 2019 (UTC)

Ah damn I wondered why I had not done it! --Viktor (talk) 16:13, 13 December 2019 (UTC)

Image name with dashes instead of spaces

Please don't upload images with dashes "-" where there should be spaces.--Ashendant (talk) 18:37, 14 December 2019 (UTC)

Faction Templates

Hey, I created an empty model for every missing Faction Template and added it to every article in that corresponding faction that I could find using an automated system. I mostly used the general faction category and faction characters category. This should speed up your work significantly, as you now only need to edit the templates themselves, through there will likely be a few minor flubs from using automatation. Tell me if there are any problems or you think I missed any faction.--Ashendant (talk) 13:32, 10 May 2020 (UTC)

Thanks thats really kind I'll work on that. :) --Viktor (talk) 16:57, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
Again you can just ask me to do this kind of very quick mass work. It took me only 6 minutes to add the Skaven template to 145 pages with very little input. Do tell me if there are any factions left to add the template.--Ashendant (talk) 19:11, 13 May 2020 (UTC)
Ah thats handy - I do also use it as a way to go through entries and amend, edit bits and pieces that are wrong - I think the other factions all have the write template but will have a look :) --Viktor (talk) 19:45, 13 May 2020 (UTC)
Can you work you magic on the Dark Elves and Orcs & Goblins - thanks --Viktor (talk) 09:34, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
Done!--Ashendant (talk) 16:01, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
Thanks Muchly --Viktor (talk) 16:04, 15 May 2020 (UTC)

Nav Unit List

I created a template that links to every unit list like we have in Age of Sigmar. Feel to add or remove factions from it depending on which lists you are going to make. Template:Nav Unit Lists --Ashendant (talk) 13:14, 2 June 2020 (UTC)

Thanks :) --Viktor (talk) 13:19, 2 June 2020 (UTC)

Quick question about the lists of units. What are you going to put in the Warhammer Armies editions section? Also have you considered stuff from other games like Total War and Warmaster?--Ashendant (talk) 18:14, 4 June 2020 (UTC)

The Editions would follow same format as Vampire Counts, so as I work through the varied army books will update the lists to have the edition/s the unit appears in. Have something like 50 books to work through before I get to TW/Warmaster but adding them is a good idea - but prob should include Mordheim as well as some of Nation units appear in that system.--Viktor (talk) 18:41, 4 June 2020 (UTC)
Guessing you a have a quick way of adding those units? thanks :) I have loads of work to do with so many factions to sort out entires, categories etc! but also need to keep myself interested hence tangents now and again --Viktor (talk) 18:44, 4 June 2020 (UTC)
I have no way of quickly adding this information. I was just curious on how you were going to deal with it. Personally I wouldn't do that section.
I was able to create every list of unit for every mainline faction and give it one example each.--Ashendant (talk) 18:51, 4 June 2020 (UTC)
Impressive, thanks. Its something that I have found is often discussed when talking about WFB minis, when X came in or when Y did not occur. --Viktor (talk) 18:52, 4 June 2020 (UTC)

Website with miniatures

I found this website with a wide range of miniatures images, lots of old fb stuff. [5] Feel free to use it.--Ashendant (talk) 00:16, 22 June 2020 (UTC)

Thanks :) do i need to add them as the source or is that not needed for minis --Viktor (talk) 12:08, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
You need to add a source. You could use a link to the website or if you think it's better just add "Games Workshop website", if the miniature image is too old for the source to be found.--Ashendant (talk) 12:33, 22 June 2020 (UTC)

Do you want to be an Admin?

Your continued contributions have been a great help for the LexicANUM. Do you want to be an administrator for the FB and/or the AoS Lexicanum? You'll be able to do stuff like deleting, undeleting and moving pages.--Ashendant (talk) 21:25, 18 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi and thanks - Sounds good - do I need to do anything? Other than be careful :) --Viktor (talk) 21:30, 18 October 2020 (UTC)
Yeah, you just have to be careful. Do you want to be of both Lexis or just the FB Lexi?--Ashendant (talk) 21:55, 18 October 2020 (UTC)
Happy with both - but mainly focussing over here at the moment as it looks like there are few other helpers on the AOS side at the moment. --Viktor (talk) 10:06, 19 October 2020 (UTC)
You are now an administrator in both wikis. Yeah we had a bit of an expansion on the AoS side and the Lexi is getting better every time I log in. Thanks for all the help.--Ashendant (talk) 11:25, 19 October 2020 (UTC)

Skavor

You should try to find a way to add Skavor to the Ancestor Gods article. Something Like how Hashut is.--Ashendant (talk) 20:43, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

Lexicanum Overhaul

Hey, just want to warn you that a lexicanum overhaul should be coming in the following months.--Ashendant (talk) 19:41, 24 January 2022 (UTC)

Ok thanks - anythng I need to do / prespare for / direct impact? --Viktor (talk) 19:59, 24 January 2022 (UTC)
Nothing to do until the update is done. It should come with the ability to upload a lot of images in a batch and a new style of Navigation Templates that is far easier to work with.--Ashendant (talk) 20:52, 24 January 2022 (UTC)

Recomendation

Hey, once the mass upload tool is added to Lexicanum I suggest you dredge this link for iamges with a similiar style to those in here and upload them to the Lexicanum.--Ashendant (talk) 19:24, 14 March 2022 (UTC)

Template: Deities nav

Hey, I've replaced all the myriad of of deities templates with a singular one that is far more convinient. The list of deities were created using information from the Lexicanum and Warhammer wikia. It still needs minor adjustments that require investigation, like seeing if some deities are really Chaos Gods or if any of the minor gods are aspects of other deities.

Also there is an update coming to the Lexicanum that will require us to redesign most of these navigation templates. If you have any question feel free to ask.--Ashendant (talk) 13:08, 14 August 2022 (UTC)

Ok the defination of a god - not a god is tricky and whether all gods are aspects of the Chaos gods is a interesting discussion. Let me know what i need to do when? thanks --Viktor (talk) 20:00, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
There are a few Chaos Gods that I have issues with their classification and sources that Im trying to solve. Ideally I would like all these red links to have an article so everyone could use the full-scope of the template in the future. So if you want create as many deity articles as you feel comfortable with.
As for the update, we don't know when it will happen, but the Nav Boxes will one that require the most work. I will first work on setting up the AoS Lexicanum templates to work and then show what I did so you can do the same.--Ashendant (talk) 20:20, 14 August 2022 (UTC)

I'm done with adding the Template: Deities nav and updating the Template: Deity box for all current gods with articles. I'll leave the rest up to you.--Ashendant (talk) 11:14, 21 August 2022 (UTC)

Deity Infobox

Great job on adding that massive ammount of deities! I do have some feedback on how how you should do the Deity Box better:

  • When separating entries in stuff life domain and titles use a "
" instead of a comma. This makes it much easier to read even if it makes the template a bit longer.
  • Most of the entries on the infobox should be sourced with a "[?]" (replace the ? with the numbered source). I'm however not going to put pressure on this since the WHFB lexi articles on deities are very old, from a time when sourcing was not enforced.
  • Affiliation part of the Infobox should only be used for factions (Empire, Wood Elves and Kislev) or similiar (Pygmies and Amazons). Everything else should go on followers.

Do not worry about fixing the articles you added according to these guidelines. I'll give them a combover in a bit. But do please keep them in mind when adding new deities or making further edits to old articles. If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask.--Ashendant (talk) 11:27, 27 August 2022 (UTC)

Ok thanks will do. --Viktor (talk) 18:20, 27 August 2022 (UTC)

Age of Reckoning images

Hey I added a lot of bestiary images from Age of Reckoning into the Lexi in the following category: Category:Age of Reckoning images I mostly focused on unique stuff to AoR through I threw all the generic animals and stuff I thought didn't have any images in the Lexicanum. I also reformatted all image names for this category to have AoR in the end.

The images come from the Return of Reckoning wiki. There are some quotes in the Bestiary and the Classes pages that could be possibly be used to make articles for the more unique creatures/images at your discretion. Examples like: Magus of Tzeentch, Disciple of Khaine, Walker, Daemonvine and Asp Bone Construct.--Ashendant (talk) 12:40, 14 January 2024 (UTC)

  • Cool thanks - will have a look :) --Viktor (talk) 12:44, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
