You done the sourcing fine, but we no longer use that system. We use the {{Fn|1}}{{Endn|1}} system. I'll edit the article you did to show you the difference.--Ashendant (talk) 14:29, 24 September 2017 (MDT)

Ok thanks - sorry new to this and thought I had got it right :( --Viktor

Don't forget to sign it either using the signature button(between the link and italics button) or --~~~~.
Are the two neferata books by josh reynolds in the Naaima page the same?
And don't worry you'll slowly get the hang of it and you'll be able to use what you learn here on other wikis.--Ashendant (talk) 14:41, 24 September 2017 (MDT)-Viktor (talk) 15:50, 24 September 2017 (MDT)

Neferata is the same book yes - Master of Death is a different novel - I could not see how you make the source link be the same for more than one citation? Think I get it now - was just editing the Sisterhood page but you got there first!--Viktor

Yes, I think that's the main reason why we changed the system.
So they are three different books. I did a few changes and now it should work properly and you should get the gist of it. If you want an example here, List of Spells, is a good, well-sourced one.
I should also mention that while I personally I don't care now, you should add pagenumber or chaptername to the sources if they are big.
Don't forget to sign your posts in the talk pages.--Ashendant (talk) 14:57, 24 September 2017 (MDT)

ok thanks i thought about page numbers but her hsitroy is all over the place in the book as it skips back and forth in time. --Viktor (talk) 14:59, 24 September 2017 (MDT)

Well don't worry about that particular case for now. Focus on adding more sourced content.--Ashendant (talk) 15:16, 24 September 2017 (MDT)

Lahmian Sisterhood

I have a question about the Lahmian Sisterhood in Age of Sigmar. Was it ever called that? You mentioned they were called the Darkmaiden Broods. It's not really that important, but if we can we should make them into different articles.--Ashendant (talk) 15:46, 24 September 2017 (MDT)

Not sure - I seem to recall Neferata talking about the Sisterhood and also the recent BL novel mentions sisters alot - the Darkmaiden broods I have only seen the once in the Ironjawz book.
I will have a read through the source material -Viktor (talk) 15:50, 24 September 2017 (MDT)
It's just much more easy to make these articles if we can split them between Mortal Realms and World-That-Was. Thanks!--Ashendant (talk) 15:54, 24 September 2017 (MDT)

Nothing in the Grand Alliance Death Book that is helpful - her main stronghold was Nulahmia and that still stands.... --Viktor (talk) 16:25, 24 September 2017 (MDT)

Categories are intended to be automated lists and shouldnt contain more than a few details. You should move the info you worked there into the Mortarch article, with info from the WTW and the MR properly split. --Ashendant (talk) 11:11, 26 September 2017 (MDT)

ok will do --Viktor (talk) 11:23, 26 September 2017 (MDT)
I would've done so, but I was using mobile.--Ashendant (talk) 11:41, 26 September 2017 (MDT)

Sorry, it seems I forgot to add the link to the Soulblight Armoury, which contains the artefacts. In general artefacts should go in Category:Armouries pages. On that note, do you have the Bonesplitterz battletome?--Ashendant (talk) 17:34, 26 September 2017 (MDT)

sorry No I have Ironjawz, Flesh-eater Cours, Khardron Overlords and Sylvanth - should there be some kind of link between the Armouries pages and the Weapons pages?--Viktor (talk) 01:19, 27 September 2017 (MDT)
Armoury pages list things like weapons, artefacts, equipment, armour, saddles, etc. of that army. Check Fyreslayers Armoury for the most complete example. This is an idea taken from the 40k side, but still very much in the early stages.--Ashendant (talk) 04:54, 27 September 2017 (MDT)

Units Lists

I saw that when you create new army articles you don't use the automated lists of units I made so. To use them you just need to copy the following:

{|class="wikitable sortable" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1" align="center" border="0" style="background:Ivory4;" width="100%" !width="5%" | Image !width="30%" | Unit !width="30%" | Faction !width="5%" | Grand<br/>Alliance !width="30%" | Warscroll {{:List of Warhammer: Age of Sigmar units/Tzeentch Arcanites}} |}

And replace that part that says "Tzeentch Arcanites" with the faction you want. As long as the original page is kept updated this one should also remained so.--Ashendant (talk) 12:04, 27 September 2017 (MDT)

Ok sorry - still getting the hang of this - hope not making too much work! Will slow down for a bit now as back to work tomorrow --Viktor (talk) 12:07, 27 September 2017 (MDT)
Don't worry about it. You're not making too much work, I don't mind fixing what's wrong and you're still learning. Continue editing at your leisure as I quite enjoy improving upon your edits.--Ashendant (talk) 12:13, 27 September 2017 (MDT)

I've did some fixes in nulhamia article which you can find here. Check it as it has some of the most common errors you make. Could you rewrite the Necropolis of Themis part? The way you phrase is a bit confusing and it seems like it's talking more about the caverns beneath it than the necropolis itself. Also who is the Blood Dragon?--Ashendant (talk) 17:08, 28 September 2017 (MDT)

Covers and miniatures

You can find most covers and miniatures in the following categories. Category:Age of Sigmar miniatures Category:Age of Sigmar covers. Sorry for not telling you earlier.--Ashendant (talk) 11:37, 30 September 2017 (MDT)

Thanks - just found that as it let me know I was clashing so all good :) --Viktor (talk) 11:40, 30 September 2017 (MDT).
I will fix any problems with covers later. I dont like images with square bases on the age of sigmar, but I will not remove those images.--Ashendant (talk) 12:08, 30 September 2017 (MDT)

Beasts of the Grave Unit List

I noticed you tried adding the Beasts of the Grave unit list, but I hadn't make it. Or rather I had make it but then it was fused with the flesh-eater courts faction and then GW split it again later. Either I made a new list and added it for you.--Ashendant (talk) 14:23, 30 September 2017 (MDT)

Grand Alliance Books

It looks like you have the Grand Alliance books. I have the images from War of Sigmar, but I only have a limited set. Could you please leave the Grand Alliance of Order for last since I have a lot of them? I have no image from GA Chaos or GA Death(which seems like you've completed it) and no Ogor faction from the GA Destruction(I already added every other in except the Ogos). Thanks!--Ashendant (talk) 09:02, 1 October 2017 (MDT)

Hey no probs - just did Darkling Covens but will stop there - yep I have all GA books, Death now complete :) --Viktor (talk) 09:18, 1 October 2017 (MDT).
Thanks!--Ashendant (talk) 09:27, 1 October 2017 (MDT)

New Character List format

I created a new format for the list of characters of the Skaven Verminus factions, and I was wondering what was your opinion on it.--Ashendant (talk) 12:14, 4 October 2017 (MDT)

I like it ;) perhaps "Unit" rather than "Role" and "notes" rather than Description?? Its a pity that AOS does not use some form of calandar as it would be handy with the whole alive/dead (as of X date)
On an unrelated note - where should I put Gnawholes - not sure of an appropriate catergory? Lastly what happened to the help pages?--Viktor (talk) 12:22, 4 October 2017 (MDT)
I think description is more intuitive than notes. But I should change roles to units.
That would be convenient yes, but they are still in the early phases of development. Use Deceased instead of Dead.
You should put them in Gnawholes, as it's own article. With a few exceptions, most things should be their own page.
I don't think the Help Pages were ever made.
Do you have GA Destruction? Could you work on the missing Ogor faction(and the Sun-eater aspect of gorkamorka) before the Order book?--Ashendant (talk) 12:42, 4 October 2017 (MDT)
Sorry I meant what category for Gnawholes not sure what fits? There used to be some useful help pages - i even booked marked them but they seem to have vanished. I thought I had GA Destruction but I can't find it - either I have leant it to someone or its buired beneath other stuff! Might pick up a copy at the weekend.
Perhaps destroyed instead of dead / deceased - as we have undead etc? --Viktor (talk) 12:47, 4 October 2017 (MDT)
Go with Category:Scenery.
Then do GA Order if you want to.
Template:Howtosource quick look I found this through there are certainly more.
Well there should definitly more status than Alive and Deceased, like Banished, Destroyed, Defeatable.
Use : instead of *
--Ashendant (talk) 12:55, 4 October 2017 (MDT)

Hey dont add forgeworld units to those lists. They are already on their own list. Check the See Also section of the main list.--Ashendant (talk) 15:13, 6 October 2017 (MDT)

hmm Ok then but would it not be better to have all the units for a given faction in the same place? --Viktor (talk) 15:19, 6 October 2017 (MDT)
For now lets not mix forgeworld stuff with rest. Their development on age of sigmar stuff is stil very much nonexistent. On the unit lists I already came up with solution, which I will apply when forgeworld stuff is less of a mess.
However if you really want forgeworld stuff on unit list, I could apply this solution today.--Ashendant (talk) 15:35, 6 October 2017 (MDT)
No its fine - lots of other stuff to add - i just happened to be looking at Forgeworld when deciding next stuff to edit --Viktor (talk) 15:38, 6 October 2017 (MDT)
I already added everything forgeworld related to AoS. If you have the battletome Bonesplitterz I would like to add stuff from there. Otherwise just add what you have.--Ashendant (talk) 15:46, 6 October 2017 (MDT)

Spell Lore

If a faction has it's own Named Spell Lore and Prayers they should go on their own page like Lore of the Savage Waaagh!.--Ashendant (talk) 07:22, 13 October 2017 (MDT)

Kharadron Overlord character names

I've added characters from the individual Sky-Port pages but when I went to check the main article it seems that some names were not correct. Can you check which names are correct and correct what's wrong?--Ashendant (talk) 07:41, 14 October 2017 (MDT)

will do :) --Viktor (talk) 07:44, 14 October 2017 (MDT)
Ok so looking at the names - there should be an extra s in Nelriksson - corrected. looking at the others now, Barak-Nar seems fine --Viktor (talk) 07:58, 14 October 2017 (MDT)
Others seem ok? --Viktor (talk) 08:14, 14 October 2017 (MDT)
At least Grymm seem to be wrong somewhere: Compare this list Category:Kharadron Overlords characters with Kharadron Overlords#Notable. Atleast some seem missing from the main list.--Ashendant (talk) 09:45, 14 October 2017 (MDT)

List of Things to do

Since the link seems to be working now, here is the list of things to do for age of sigmar: Warhammer - Age of Sigmar - Lexicanum:Age of Sigmar. The link to the help pages should also be working now.--Ashendant (talk) 15:17, 15 October 2017 (MDT)

Ok day off tomorrow so will have a look at what I can do next. At least we are working though things? Pity my books are all hard copy as not easy to scan images wihout damaging them --Viktor (talk) 05:47, 19 October 2017 (MDT)
A lot of images can be found around the internet in extremely good quality too. Some of them are even posted in GW own Warhammer Art website. You have completed a lot of work on the individual Great Epochs pages. After that we need to fix the Mortal Realms ones.

Kharadron Overlords character list

Here is my second attempt at a characters list: List of Kharadron Overlords characters. Tell me what you think.--Ashendant (talk) 17:14, 18 October 2017 (MDT)

I think it works well, question - do we consider characters in WD, Battletomes or other GW products as Canon characters? --Viktor (talk) 05:51, 19 October 2017 (MDT)
If i'm understanding the question correctly - yes.--Ashendant (talk) 16:32, 19 October 2017 (MDT)

Wars of the Dead

Did the conquest of Shyish during the Age of Myth also called the wars of the Dead?--Ashendant (talk) 08:42, 20 October 2017 (MDT)

yep According to Balance of Power, p96 the Wars of the dead were Nagash and the Mortarch conquering Shyish, GW use the same name for both conflicts. --Viktor (talk) 10:11, 20 October 2017 (MDT)
So in total there have been three sequeneces of events called Wars of the Dead, one in each Great Epoch. That's definitely confusing. Maybe we should make an article about it like the Realmgate Wars one.--Ashendant (talk) 10:34, 20 October 2017 (MDT)
Sounds sensible :) --Viktor (talk) 10:42, 20 October 2017 (MDT)
Do you want to make it or do you want me? Right now i'm a little busy.--Ashendant (talk) 11:12, 20 October 2017 (MDT)
Okay you did it through I have a problem. The way the events are narrated it implies that the Slaugther at the Starless Gates and the Return of Nagash happen before the Stormcast Eternals make an appearance which means they are an event of the Age of Chaos, not the Age of Sigmar.--Ashendant (talk) 16:27, 20 October 2017 (MDT)
Not sure - it can be read either way - I think its simulatenous with Sigmars first strike at Ashey - the "Strange Alliance" at the Arch of Bones is def subsequent - its tricky without any kind of date structure within the universe! --Viktor (talk) 16:51, 20 October 2017 (MDT)
I assumed everything that mentions stormcast in that book happened shortly after the first strike in Aqshy as after that Sigmar sent them through all the realms. I'll just leave it as it is.--Ashendant (talk) 16:56, 20 October 2017 (MDT)

Images in the unit list

Please don't use old images in the list of warhammer age of sigmar units. There are plenty of rumours there's going to be a mass repacking soon and if that goes through I will have to put new images everywhere and having the image field with something might confuse me. The only list that should have old images is this one: List of Warhammer: Age of Sigmar legacy units.--Ashendant (talk) 11:16, 20 October 2017 (MDT)

Image Versions

If you have a higher quality version of an image that already exists, don't upload it as a new file. Check the File History section of the old version of the file and click the "Upload a new version of this file" link at the bottom of that section. I reuploaded the high quality cover of the Pantheon book in the File:Pantheon cover.jpg.--Ashendant (talk) 14:06, 23 October 2017 (MDT)

Ok will do sorry I missed there was already a pic --Viktor (talk) 14:07, 23 October 2017 (MDT)
Most covers are already uploaded, as can be seen in this page: List of Warhammer: Age of Sigmar books. I usually keep this and the unit list page updated.--Ashendant (talk) 14:10, 23 October 2017 (MDT)

Gargant's Graveyard and names of characters

I have two or three issues I need to speak with you. Does the gargant graveyard, big skull and the howling labyrinth of tzeentch exist in the ghurland plains?--Ashendant (talk) 12:42, 4 November 2017 (MDT)

yes they do --Viktor (talk) 12:51, 4 November 2017 (MDT)

When it comes to linking when it come to character names never include the title in the link like you did with the shimering countess and also never skip it entirely like you did with zazul, create a redirect instead.--Ashendant (talk) 12:42, 4 November 2017 (MDT)

ok noted--Viktor (talk) 12:51, 4 November 2017 (MDT)
Here's the thing about location pages, if they are not big on their own they should become of a larger location article. Its very hard to explain but it depends on the context and how developed the region is. Ill fix these things with these four articles I mentined when I arrive home.--Ashendant (talk) 12:56, 4 November 2017 (MDT)
hmm ok - it is a little confusing as there are lots of very short location articles recently - I have a freind over shortly so will look at what you have done when she has gone or tomorrow -Viktor (talk) 13:00, 4 November 2017 (MDT)
If they can be associated with a larger location article then they should be in that article. The individual mortal realms pages are too general to count. There's a lot of very short articles because most of them are just mentions without being associated with a larger article.--Ashendant (talk) 13:09, 4 November 2017 (MDT)
I fixed it. Like I said before it depends on context and in this case if I put the Gargant's Graveyard article inside the Ghurland Plains it will end up being mostly about it, so I put a subsection linking to it. But since the information on the Big Skull article was mostly about the plains itself with a bit more details I did the opposite and turned it into a redirect. I can understand how this is confusing, but it all depends on how much information there is to be put in an article.--Ashendant (talk) 15:20, 4 November 2017 (MDT)

Finishing the GA books

Someone provided me with the entries for the three ogors factions we missed and translated them from german to english, which I used to make the missing faction articles. All that we miss is the Tzeentch Arcanites. If you still have the Grand Alliance: Chaos book, can you go ahead and confirm that if everything in their entry of that book is in their corresponding faction page?--Ashendant (talk) 19:32, 24 November 2017 (MST)

There are only 4 pages - one page of text which covers the same info (but less detailed) as Disciples of Tzeentch and three warscrolls: Tzeentch Chaos Lord on Disc of Tzeenetch, Tzeentch Sorcerer Lord, Curseling - All are listed on the current page. best wishes _ Bit hectic at work at the moment so not been able to do much - and now my heating boiler has broken :( --Viktor (talk) 02:26, 25 November 2017 (MST)
Thanks! This means that the GA books are done. Good luck with your issues.--Ashendant (talk) 06:35, 25 November 2017 (MST)

Is Ghyrochs plural or singular?--Ashendant (talk) 06:48, 3 December 2017 (MST)

plural --Viktor (talk) 07:00, 3 December 2017 (MST)
So singular would be Ghyroch?--Ashendant (talk) 07:05, 3 December 2017 (MST)
Probably - its only a single line in the novel - "the lumbering Ghyrochs which pulled them lowering in confusion.... --Viktor
Okay, then i'll move the article to Ghyroch.--Ashendant (talk) 07:22, 3 December 2017 (MST)

Noble Spirits

Hey I noticed that you created the Noble Spirits article and I needed your opinion on something. Do you think we should fuse the Treelord, Branchwych and Tree-Revenant articles into it? It would certain simplify matters and make a more meaty article that ones split along various pages. The old ones would be turned into redirects.--Ashendant (talk) 11:36, 9 December 2017 (MST)

Could certinaly do so - I could then do similar articles for the Forest Folk, Free Spirits and Outcasts? --Viktor (talk) 11:50, 9 December 2017 (MST)
Yeah it works and one for Spites too.--Ashendant (talk) 11:57, 9 December 2017 (MST)
I was going to do "Spites" but I think its already linked to a Warhammer world article on Forest Spirits? --Viktor (talk) 12:00, 9 December 2017 (MST)
Finished merging all the articles into one and redirecting them all into it. Feel free to edit it now.
I'm not sure what you mean, Spite is an empty article.--Ashendant (talk) 12:20, 9 December 2017 (MST)
Ah I see what you mean. Work on the Spite article and I will fix whatever problems appear later okay?--Ashendant (talk) 12:21, 9 December 2017 (MST)
Ok will do - have done the initial Forest Folk article as well. :) --Viktor (talk) 12:39, 9 December 2017 (MST)
When splitting a paragraph into various ones don't forget that you have to cite them too. In the Free Spirits#Kurnoth Hunters you forgot to cite one.
Is Dollenhal in the quote a Spirit of Durthu? If so he should be in the notable list.
Is that all there is on these two units for Free Spirits? Age of Sigmar wikia has a bit (probably copy-pasted we should never do) about alarielle being angry at them and a bit more.
Sorry if I seem bossy about this but I want some articles finished so the other guys can post them on twitter and facebook and hopefully attract more people.--Ashendant (talk) 09:53, 10 December 2017 (MST)
Ok the extra stuff is about Sons which I was going to put in seperate bit but will add it as a subsection of main article - will work on now. --Viktor (talk) 10:05, 10 December 2017 (MST)
Isn't Sons and Spirits of Durthu synonymous in this case?--Ashendant (talk) 10:10, 10 December 2017 (MST)
technically no - I have tried to clear that up in my update - see if it makes sense? --Viktor (talk) 10:05, 10 December 2017 (MST)
Yeah it does, but it should stay in this article for now. If any of those subsections grows substantially we will move it to their own article. There is still one paragraph of the Kurnoth Hunters section that needs to be cited.--Ashendant (talk) 10:52, 10 December 2017 (MST)
Hey, unfortunatly you can't put Drycha's entry in the Outcast pages, besides mentioning that she is their ruler and how she rules. Most of her information should be in the Drycha Hamadreth article.--Ashendant (talk) 14:21, 11 December 2017 (MST)

There's something weird with the sourcing in the Outcasts(two 1a and no 1b) and Spite-Revenants are also missing their source.--Ashendant (talk) 17:33, 6 January 2018 (MST)

Knights Indomitable and Aurora

Is there any mention of Knights Aurora and the Knights Indomitable in the Balance of Power book? Specifically what type of organisation they are?--Ashendant (talk) 10:03, 18 December 2017 (MST)

Sorry nothing I can see --Viktor (talk) 10:33, 18 December 2017 (MST).
Thanks! It's one of those stormcast organizations we'll have to leave as "ambigous".

Mount Kronus

Could you please ad a description of Mount Kronus to the Golgeth page? Also is it Kronus or Kronos?--Ashendant (talk) 07:16, 20 December 2017 (MST)

Will have a look - bit ill at the moment but hhope to do some more in the holidays as have some more AOS novels to read and use as sources. --Viktor (talk) 10:20, 20 December 2017 (MST)
It is Mount Kronus not much detail in the book tbh but will try and write something --Viktor (talk) 10:44, 21 December 2017 (MST)
Thanks it was just something that didn't make sense about the article. It talked about the Mount, but it never addressed what it was. Also thanks for adding that mention of the Lantic empire--Ashendant (talk) 16:06, 21 December 2017 (MST)

I'm going through all the articles relevant and separating those that are shared in both settings. I already did so with the main gods of pantheon, and will follow with the Chaos Gods, followed by races and then objects and creatures. I hope this makes more easier to edit these very confusing articles. If you have any opinions I would very much like to hear them.--Ashendant (talk) 08:26, 26 December 2017 (MST)

Just logging off for a bit as need to clean the flat for later! Seems like a really good idea as it can be confusing at present. I'll have a proper look tpmorrow when should have plenty of time. :) --Viktor (talk) 08:32, 26 December 2017 (MST)
Did you have any problems with these?--Ashendant (talk) 09:16, 30 December 2017 (MST)
Not so far - its a good step forward :) --Viktor (talk) 09:47, 30 December 2017 (MST)
I think that's most of them either way. The rest are just tiny creature articles that aren't worthy of splitting. Through I still have to do it for Ghal Maraz. If there are anything else needing of some splitting tell me.--Ashendant (talk) 10:07, 30 December 2017 (MST)

Character List

I've tried again making a character list: List of Seraphon characters. But I feel like something's off. Maybe it's too large and should remove the Status section as it is the most uncertain of them all? What's your opinion?--Ashendant (talk) 08:17, 30 December 2017 (MST)

Looks good to me - Status is a tricky one as we don't say Status as of X date as we have no calendar as we did in the Warhammer World - on a rlated note - in general during articels I am using current tense rather than past tense? --Viktor (talk) 09:05, 30 December 2017 (MST)
Okay then I'll remove Status. Using sub-lists should also help us making racial character lists with ease.
I'm not certain in that regard? I think we should use the past tense, mostly because the 40k Lexi also uses it (Example). --Ashendant (talk) 09:16, 30 December 2017 (MST)
Now that I incorporated every entry from the old list and removed Status column what do you think? List of Seraphon characters. If there are no problems with it, i'll quickly work on consolidating every Seraphon character into this system. Should simplify things further down the way.--Ashendant (talk) 09:34, 30 December 2017 (MST)
Looks good - nice and clear. On tense - the 40k Article linked is a dead character and from 30K - whereas one of my fav 40k characters is current tense?--Viktor (talk) 09:42, 30 December 2017 (MST)
I guess it depends then. Just follow the other Lexi tense on that regard and it should be good.--Ashendant (talk) 10:05, 30 December 2017 (MST)

Do you have any info on Kraterclaw? He is a Verminlord from Balance of Power whose only info we have is the source.--Ashendant (talk) 13:22, 30 December 2017 (MST)

I'll add what there is - it isn't much - Do we need to source the info in the normal way - Its Balance of Power: Of Oaths & Fire. --Viktor (talk) 16:09, 30 December 2017 (MST)
I'll put the sources in it's own page. Easier that way.--Ashendant (talk) 16:11, 30 December 2017 (MST)

Now that I think about this. Maybe we should remove the character list and the unit list from the main faction pages and instead link them in the See Also section. What do you think?--Ashendant (talk) 18:46, 30 December 2017 (MST)

Hmm not sure - it is good to have enerything in one place - some of the articles could look a bit empty?--Viktor
Usually these list tend to grow big. But hmm you're right if we remove them some article will end too empty. We'll leave as it is for now a postpone any decision about this for later.--Ashendant (talk) 09:00, 31 December 2017 (MST)

So I finished the first part of the characters list, as can be seen here: List of characters of the Mortal Realms. I'm going to look around for factions that miss their list and have characters, but I don't think it's likely i'll find one. Afterwards I should look around the wiki for any missing holes like these two Category:Age of Sigmar characters and Known Members of the Hallowed Knights. I will gladly accept any comments, suggestions, opinions and help on this issue. In between those I think I will make a List of Named Vehicles or maybe Vessels? I'm not sure.--Ashendant (talk) 14:42, 18 February 2018 (MST)

Well done! Sorry been a bit busy recently. There are quitte few characters in subfaction lists - should all these go on the characters list? I'll try and do more this week. Hopefully the new Daughters of Khaine Battletome will fill in some of the story gaps about the Aelves and the Realm of Shadow.--Viktor (talk) 14:46, 18 February 2018 (MST)
There seems to be possibility of more ships in the future but its not certain.--Viktor (talk) 14:51, 18 February 2018 (MST)
Yes all characters should go on the character list, even subfaction characters. This is a master list of all characters in the Mortal Realms(I will deal with the factionless later). I just didn't have the patience to scrounge every single character spread around the lexi to create these lists, but will do so at some point. My objective right now is to make as many lists as possible as I can, before I start completing the lists and making the characters articles.
If you could, you could help me by turning the red link into articles using the descriptions or just putting the subfaction characters in the masterlist so I don't have to look around like a headless chicken.
There's also a minor issue with the role section due to the "Unknown", "Unique" and "Companions and Mount" characters not having a singular structure. Which really needs to be uniformized.
I'm not sure whetever to call it a Vessel or a Vehicle since next it seems like it's going to be sea elves with ships and the Warpwheel from Spear of Shadows faction.
I hope so. The Aelf article really needs more content!--Ashendant (talk) 14:58, 18 February 2018 (MST)
Yeah just came across the issue - was goign to add Prince Vhordrai's Zombie Dragon mount to Beasts of teh Grave but I guess its actually Soulblight. Done a couple will try and translate some more characters into actual pages and move the subfaction characters across.--Viktor (talk) 15:04, 18 February 2018 (MST)
Sometimes there are going to be missing lists since they can't be preemptively added. You would need to do what I just did to those list, but you can always request me to make one. It's not problem at all to me.--Ashendant (talk) 15:31, 18 February 2018 (MST)
Thanks - will try and do more tomorrow - off to bed now!--Viktor (talk) 15:34, 18 February 2018 (MST)
Don't forget to add the * to the start of sources. Thanks and goodnight!--Ashendant (talk) 15:35, 18 February 2018 (MST)
Slaanesh is the only chaos god without a split faction. Its characters list is the Hosts of Slaanesh for both daemons and mortals.--Ashendant (talk) 11:18, 19 February 2018 (MST)
Ah sorry missed that - amendned --Viktor (talk) 11:25, 19 February 2018 (MST)

List of Units and Images

Hey two quick things:

  • Before adding an image from Warhammer community, you should erase the logo.
  • Don't add units to the Lists of Units, before they are on pre-order. There's a reason why I didn't add the other 3 Heralds to the lists. Articles are find through so goo job in that regard.

Thanks!--Ashendant (talk) 06:57, 2 January 2018 (MST)

ok thanks - noted :) --Viktor (talk) 06:31, 3 January 2018 (MST)

Deity Infobox

I created a deity infobox and would like your opinion on it. Check it out at Nagash in the Mortal Realms. I need opinions and suggestions, especially on the order of the presented facts.--Ashendant (talk) 18:30, 4 March 2018 (MST)

Nice idea and it mostly works, I would be tempted to go: Titles, Domain, Aspects, Status,
Change Affiliation to Grand Alliance? Followers to Factions? Adjective - either keep in main text or change to Cultists?
Relationships is tricky - might be best in main text - Nagash is mianly an enemy to all other gods seeing them as rivals at best - but he did worth within the Pantheon and with others. To be honest none of the gods are really friendly, don't trust each other and all the Gods hate and fear the Chaos Gods (as they do each other) You could do "special Relationships" so Grungni and Grimnir as brothers, Teclis and Tyrion etc?--Viktor (talk) 05:40, 5 March 2018 (MST)
I'll try to answer each point.
  • Ill definitely take your order in consideration, but i'm going to check more of other wikis on this before I figure out a order.
  • I thought of naming it Grand Alliance, but then there could be deities that don't belong to a Grand Alliance but still be part of a group. So the broader definition of affiliation works better.
  • Same reason as above for Followers instead Factions(or Worshippers) a broader definition works better because there might unique factionless groups that follow a god or even part of factions that majorly follow a god, but might have a small subset that worships another god.
  • Adjective is important, as it is only a single word(which are the most important to have in these infoboxes). Also it does not only refer to cultists, but anything that can have the adjective in it(Example: Khornate Lord, Khornate Sword, Khornate Fort).
  • I see what you mean by relationships, and will probably be something different. To be honest I only added Sigmar there to have something to be visible. But yeah familial relationships will be important while enemies not so much. I'll try to look for a good example to post.
--Ashendant (talk) 17:01, 5 March 2018 (MST)
Went back again and checked a few
  • From here we can use Relatives instead of Relationships.
  • I found these 2 1 2 with the 2nd being specially thick. We could add type of deity, so we can include Morathi and Archaon while at the same time better defining the type of deity(Demigod, Godbeast, Incarnate God) and Home, for their primary base of operations.
There's lot else we could probably adapt from here but it's very late for me to do a proper analysis.--Ashendant (talk) 17:16, 6 March 2018 (MST)
Its up to you but to me Adjective just seems an odd name for a category and partially covered by the Followers / Worshippers, of the 3 links I think the Ben10 work best. --Viktor (talk) 12:04, 7 March 2018 (MST)
It's partially covered, not completely. Having it in this spot it's much better than adding a trivia section just for that note for every god that has one. Anyway updated it with your order suggestion but put status and type in between.--Ashendant (talk) 17:46, 7 March 2018 (MST)
I have added this to Nagash in the Mortal Realms, Slaanesh in the Mortal Realms and the Great Horned Rat. Do you see any issues with it?--Ashendant (talk) 13:11, 10 March 2018 (MST)
No looks good - see how it works with some of the others :) --Viktor (talk) 07:14, 11 March 2018 (MDT)
Applied to all gods, but still filling them out.
Could you add any info on Sagh'mahr, sigmar's aspect as a giant worm in the Sigmar in the Mortal Realms.--Ashendant (talk) 18:12, 23 March 2018 (MDT)
As far as i can tell its a title rather than an aspect and he is worshiped as normal? Have added soem info to the page--Viktor (talk) 04:16, 24 March 2018 (MDT)
I was pretty sure at some point he was described as a human-headed worm.--Ashendant (talk) 16:10, 24 March 2018 (MDT)
Pestilens describes the main temple with a statue of the "man god" and he has a beard etc - can;t see anything else? --Viktor (talk) 16:13, 24 March 2018 (MDT)
Okay, thanks! Maybe we'll see something more on it later.--Ashendant (talk) 18:20, 24 March 2018 (MDT)
Quick question: Is the King of All Ravens that The Ninety-Nine Feathers serve an Aspect or a Title of Tzeentch or not specified?--Ashendant (talk) 14:40, 26 March 2018 (MDT)

List of Named Vehicles

As promised here is the List of named vehicles of the Mortal Realms. Any suggestions?--Ashendant (talk) 17:55, 9 March 2018 (MST)
This is actually a very short list that just needs a little be to keep it finished. Could you create an article for the Warp-wheel and the pagenumber or section for Gromthi-a-Grund and Grund Ang source?--Ashendant (talk) 06:19, 10 March 2018 (MST)
Thanks for the help! That's one less to-do off the list.--Ashendant (talk) 11:53, 10 March 2018 (MST)
No Worries :) Will see if I can find some more vehicles --Viktor (talk) 12:06, 10 March 2018 (MST)

Bit Confused on Aelven History

I was under the impression that the kidnapping of Slannesh happened late in the Age of Myth and into the Age of Chaos. Is it not right? Also does the Daughters of Khaine battletome clarify what the Scathborn are?--Ashendant (talk) 13:33, 17 March 2018 (MDT)

Unfortunately still no dates or similar - the progression is now right in the Aleves page - the gods wake up, join the Pnatheon, we now know Morathi flees and hides in shame, then the Aelf gods come and find her and persuade her to ensare Slaanesh. They pull the souls out and make their own. its only when she gets the souls that she starts expanding out of the Veil so it can;t be too late - I put it about half way in the Age of Myth Chronology? --Viktor (talk) 13:39, 17 March 2018 (MDT)
scathborn or Trueborn are aelf souls claimed by reformed Morathi and remade into Melusai and Khinerai - I'll add that to the Aelf page. --Viktor (talk) 13:52, 17 March 2018 (MDT)
The kidnapping was one of the reasons why the pantheon fell so it cannot really be halfway. Then again my measurement for the Age of Myth is: Early, Sigmar and Dracothion Buddy adventures; Mid, Formation of the Pantheon and Utopia; Late, Fall of the Pantheon.
The problem with the story is that it describes the building of Aelven empires and kingdoms as happening after the Kidnapping of Slannesh, when it presumably happened much later during the Age of Myth.
I thought Scathborn were all aelves claimed from Slaanesh, as the name grossly implies.--Ashendant (talk) 13:56, 17 March 2018 (MDT)
Not sure - the DOK books says that the "the reclaimation of souls from Slaanesh heralded a new age for all members of the Aelven race and talks about a couple of generations later overcrowded beign a problem for the DOK and their expansion. The pantheon then shatters completely - I think it works in the Age of Myth page chronology? Rewritten Aelves to try and make it work--Viktor (talk) 14:08, 17 March 2018 (MDT)
Great Job! It works perfectly. I guess most of this stuff will likely be clarified in the Idoneth book.
I have another question unrelated to the Aelves. In the DoK book does it clarify what the thing that held the Heart of Khaine was? Was it a Godbeast or just a Ur-Creature?--Ashendant (talk) 14:12, 17 March 2018 (MDT)
Kharybtar is called the father of Kharybdisses and is noted specfically as being a Godbeast. Morathi seduces it. I'll add it to the God beast section.--Viktor (talk) 14:26, 17 March 2018 (MDT)
Yeah that would be great. I really like when wikis have info on deities. Bit of bias on my side.--Ashendant (talk) 14:32, 17 March 2018 (MDT)
Wait is he the father of Kharybdiss or Kharibdyss?--Ashendant (talk) 14:45, 17 March 2018 (MDT)
In the book it says Kharybdisses - might be an error or a name change--Viktor (talk) 14:49, 17 March 2018 (MDT)?
Probably a typo. Thanks for your answers!--Ashendant (talk) 14:52, 17 March 2018 (MDT)
Could you please correct and source the article about Khaine in the Mortal Realms. I just did it based on what I remember so feel free to correct anything wrong with it or add more details.--Ashendant (talk) 18:25, 22 March 2018 (MDT)
All done :) --Viktor (talk) 03:46, 23 March 2018 (MDT)
Thanks! Just one more little thing. Could add the domains and titles that's missing and source them?--Ashendant (talk) 07:54, 23 March 2018 (MDT)
Domains are fine - No Title given for AOS - he ws Lord of Murder in TWTW? --Viktor (talk) 08:10, 23 March 2018 (MDT)
Total War is based on the World-That-Was and not on the Mortal Realms. I think it's best if we only add stuff to the Mortal Realms article if they are mentioned in a source that comes from the Mortal Realms setting.--Ashendant (talk) 08:35, 23 March 2018 (MDT)

TWTW = The World That was ;) --Viktor (talk) 08:54, 23 March 2018 (MDT)

Ah, okay. It would be less confusing if you called it WTW, as TWTW can get confused with Total War.
Sorry just being lazy - have to go back to work for a bit :( --Viktor (talk) 09:06, 23 March 2018 (MDT)

Completing the List of Characters

I'm trying to turn all named character links in the list of characters of the Mortal Realms into actual links but i'm having difficulty with a few, some of which you added.

Where did you find that Tri'chlan was the founder of Cult Esoteric? The only mention someone has been able to find for me is in page 26 of the BT: DoT, but no mention of him being a founder or a tzaangor.
Do you know anything about Skurritch the only character of Skaven Moulder faction. Might be in the Grand Alliance Chaos book.
Do you know of Sternbark? Can't find anything about him.

Thanks!--Ashendant (talk) 17:13, 25 March 2018 (MDT)

Sorry was out most of Sunday - Tri'chlan I have done :) Skurritch is in GA Chaos book, p275 - just the quote. Will have a look for Sternbark.--Viktor (talk) 05:50, 26 March 2018 (MDT)
So this is all there is on Skurritch?--Ashendant (talk) 07:30, 26 March 2018 (MDT)
Yep - sorry not seen anything else--Viktor (talk) 10:20, 26 March 2018 (MDT)
No Problem--Ashendant (talk) 14:38, 26 March 2018 (MDT)
Found Sternbark. I would like to finish every missing description and article in the List of characters of the Mortal Realms, so we can start the next phase.--Ashendant (talk) 09:11, 26 March 2018 (MDT)
I'll do what I can but friends over tonght --Viktor (talk) 10:20, 26 March 2018 (MDT)
Work on this at your own leisure. Don't feel pressioned on my account.--Ashendant (talk) 14:38, 26 March 2018 (MDT)
Hey, just to give a point of situation all we need to finish the first phase of the character list is to Create the article for Durek Coghammer and develop the articles on Pupa Grotesse and Eater of Tomes. I can do Pupa, but I don't have the Battletomes to make adequate articles about the other two.--Ashendant (talk) 13:24, 28 March 2018 (MDT)
Eater no probs - scoured the Battletome for KO and can;t find the page for Durek.--Viktor (talk) 13:26, 28 March 2018 (MDT)
I searched on google and found this:"Putting his growing wealth to use, Brokk commissioned a magnificent custom-built dirgible suit from the master Endrineer Durek Coghammer of Barak-Ziflin." So maybe In Brokk's section of the book that mentions his armor?--Ashendant (talk) 13:30, 28 March 2018 (MDT)

Ah HA Brilliant :) --Viktor (talk) 13:35, 28 March 2018 (MDT)

Thanks! The first phase is now done.
The second phase is to continue adding new entries from the following 2 sources:
I also think we should separate deities from this list and have one just for deities, since they have a lot of varied traits that regular characters don't.--Ashendant (talk) 16:38, 28 March 2018 (MDT)

Back from Hols - goig to have a go at re working and sourcing the Neferata (perhaps my fav Warhamemr character) article - do you want it split into two Articles - World that Was and Mortal Realms?--Viktor (talk) 07:01, 11 April 2018 (MDT)

Yes if you are going to make edits to old characters you should split their articles between setting. I'm currently trying to see if we can split the fantasy Lexi in two one for AoS content and one for FB.--Ashendant (talk) 09:35, 11 April 2018 (MDT)

Spell Lores and Prayers

I'm not liking how the current prayer and spell lore pages are designed. Do you have any suggestions?--Ashendant (talk) 07:56, 23 March 2018 (MDT)

Hmm not sure - I'll have a think but no obivous alt springs to mind. --Viktor (talk) 08:11, 23 March 2018 (MDT)
Specifically i'm not liking the list of available casters and the list of other spells.
I'm thinking of making these pages more easy to transclude and to turn the other spells/prayers into their own page lists.
I'm also thinking of replacing the simplified list of allowed casters into a small gallery for miniatures.
What do you think?--Ashendant (talk) 08:35, 23 March 2018 (MDT)
Gallery of minis would work well. Other spells on the page we could have just for those that are exclusive to the faction.--Viktor (talk) 08:58, 23 March 2018 (MDT)
I was thinking of making a "List of unaligned spells" for everything that is not specifically Spell Lores.--Ashendant (talk) 09:04, 23 March 2018 (MDT)
What do you think of adding a Lore column like the Deity column in the List of Prayers. Should I also change the order of the columns and put description at the end? What do you think of Lore of the Deepwood?--Ashendant (talk) 10:11, 23 March 2018 (MDT)

I Like the models, I think the first line should be "describes spells that can be used by the wizards in Sylvaneth armies who harness the power of Ghyran? Also I thin the unique Sylvaneth Spells should be included - mostly on warscrolls - the other option is to do "faction" spell list pages and have the various lores on that page? --Viktor (talk) 10:44, 23 March 2018 (MDT)

ill look at that line later.
the problem is that those Sylvaneth spells are not Deepwood lore. My solution was just making a list for no lore spells or make two lists, one for warscroll spells and another for nonlore, nonwarscroll spells.--Ashendant (talk) 11:51, 23 March 2018 (MDT)

Hmm personally I like the related stuff kept together so would rather had Sylvaneth Magic as a page and General magic as another, but your the boss ;) --Viktor (talk) 15:56, 23 March 2018 (MDT)

I don't know if it works. I want to avoid making every list of every faction have the basic spells listed in it. I'll give it more consideration and see if I can make a solution. I will continue applying the current format to other lores.--Ashendant (talk) 18:14, 23 March 2018 (MDT)
Not quite what I meant - you would have the "basic" spells page and the Sylvaneth page which would have the relevant lores and the spells that only their wizards can use? --Viktor (talk) 04:21, 24 March 2018 (MDT)
I think I've come up with a fitting solution. I'll start with a Daughters of Khaine one.--Ashendant (talk) 17:24, 24 March 2018 (MDT)
Daughters of Khaine Spells and Prayers. My first attempt, doesn't include unaligned spells. Any opinions or suggestions?--Ashendant (talk) 18:20, 24 March 2018 (MDT)

What the exact name of the Fuethan and Ionrach enclaves? There lots of type and somesort of mix-up with the accents in the first.--Ashendant (talk) 10:02, 23 May 2018 (MDT)

Ionrach and Fuethán :)--User:Viktor
Thanks! What's the name of the second Blue Scribe? Xirap't?--Ashendant (talk) 16:49, 23 May 2018 (MDT)
Xirat'p - I have noticed that copy pasting from word (which helps with spelling etc) sometimes means that the accents and similar do not translate perfectly across? Also the sig button seems to have dispareared when editing? --Viktor (talk) 06:25, 24 May 2018 (MDT)
In this case it was the article name and I wasn't sure if the name for the blue scribes was different from the 40k version.
We already warned the one responsible for that about the missing wiki tool bar along with a few other problems. I hope they can fix it soon, but for now everything is going to be done manually.--Ashendant (talk) 11:39, 24 May 2018 (MDT)
