Frederick[1] von Tarnus was the first Patriarch of the Bright Order. Orignially the commander of the Carroburg Greatswords, von Tarnus got a reputation as a warrior wizard and left his position in shame. During the Great War against Chaos when magically adept humans were summoned by the High Elf mage Teclis, von Tarnus travelled to Altdorf. Together with Volans, he was instrumental in the victory over Chaos.
Frederick von Tarnus is most known for the artefacts that he crafted: the Silver Seal and the Armour of Tarnus.
