Mathias Thulmann: Witch Hunter is an anthology of novels and short stories featuring Sigmarite witch hunter Mathias Thulmann. A later reprinting is part of the Warhammer Chronicles series.


In the grim medieval Old World, the dreaded witch hunters are feared above all others. These tyrannical individuals are tasked with hunting out evil throughout the towns and villages, using whatever means they find necessary in order to destroy those foolish enough to ally with the Dark Powers. Counted amongst the most zealous of the witch hunters is Mathias Thulmann, whose ruthless and legendary exploits are recounted to terrify the citizens of the Empire.


A Choice of Hatreds

All is not as it seems in the town of Kleinsdorf. Passing through during the celebration of the Festival of Wilhelmstag, Mathias Thulmann must uncover something insidious while dealing with another threat of a much different sort.

Meat Wagon

Mysteriously diverted to a Sylvanian town, Mathias and his torturer Streng team up with the passengers of a coach to take down a Strigoi vampire and his servants- Strigany and otherwise.

Witch Work

Wealthy ship owners are being grotesquely murdered in the port town of Wurtbad. As the city's merchants cower in fear it's up to Mathias and Streng to solve the impossible assassinations, especially after clues point to ancient Nehekhara.
