The Red Crown is an extremist Chaos Cult whose members worship the Tzeentch. [1][2][3]

Aims and Objectives

The cult seeks a violent revolution of the Empire by recruiting Beastmen and Mutants that dwell within the Empire.[1][2]

Their activities are focused on rural areas, for their allies live in the forests. The cult still operates in the cities of the Empire.[2]

The aim of violent uprising of Beastmen marks the cult as extremists - even other Chaos Cults consider the Red Crown as dangerous loose cannons. [2]

Organisation

Heading the cult is the Master of Change. [4]

The cult operate in cells, typically a Wizard and three apprentices which have contacts with local Beastmen and mutants. Normally they remain unaware of each other to ensure security, assisted by their widespread nature. [4]

Agitators, cat's-paws, hangers-on and sympathisers augment the cult membership with some running secret sanctuaries for hapless mutants. Many have no idea that they are in fact serving Chaos and Tzeentch. [4]

History

In 2512 IC the cult in Altdorf struggles to find a niche among the varied revolutionaries. It is looking for the grave of Salli Spaak, rumoured to contain a cache of Warpstone.[2]

Quotes

Those who are blessed will no longer hide, and those who are lowest will be highest. The Mark of the Changer will remake the world, and the Bearers of the Mark shall be His harbingers. In the darkness and the shadows, we prepare for the glorious day. We bear the lash of scorn and fear willingly, for it strengthens our souls for the glory to come. We know the strength of the Changer, and we feel His power within us. The day is coming when we shall rise up and cast down our oppressors. The day is coming when His favour will be shown, and the unfavoured will tremble. Njawrr’thakh ‘Lzimbarr Tzeentch!

~ Liber Mutandis.[4]
