Mirieth
Mirieth was the wife of Alandrian and mother of Hellebron and Lirieth. [1a]
Her family were a powerful force in Nagarythe and beyond, her uncle a powerful price and her brother a favorite of Morathi. [1a]
History
Although already estranged from her daughters and split from her husband, their decision to to leave their home and join the Cult of Khaine broke all links and they did not speak for twenty tears. On their return she began speaking against the cult, even writing to the rulers of other cities in Elthin Arvan seeking aid against it. [1a]
Following their war against the cults of pleasure, Hellebron and her sister were kept under house arrest in separate palaces but were released after five years by their father when news came of civil war in Nagarythe. They once more led the Khainites in making war against the other cults but this time with his full support. [1b]
Their mother gathered her own supporters and marched on her estranged husbands villa with several thousand supporters, demanding an end to the purge and that he turn over the rule of the city to her. The two sisters approached their mother and she appealed to them to turn away from Khaine whilst their father watched from a balcony. Hellebron kissed her and whispered to her, It is too late for peace. If I do not do this, another will. Better to rule with Khaine's blessing, than serve without it. She then cut her throat. [1b]
