Scaled Biped
Lurking in the caves and crevasses of Naggaroth’s bleak Blackspine Mountains, amidst the harpies and manticores and chimeras it is sometimes possible to spot strange, scaled bipeds. About the height of an Elf, these primitive creatures are covered head to foot with craggy scales. They make war on each other with stone axes and simple clubs, and, on occasion, when the mountains are harsher than normal, or when the call of Chaos from the north grows strong, they descend from the peaks in great numbers to join the armies of Chaos or raid Dark Elf settlements, requiring many soldiers to push them back.[1]
It is not known whether these beings are a form of Beastmen, twisted from their natural forms by the Winds of Magic, or possibly a distinct species all their own, or even mere figments of imagination spread by excitable travelers.[1]
