High Loremaster

The High Loremaster, sometimes called the Supreme Loremaster[1a][2a][4a] and Chief Loremaster[1b][2b], is the ruler of the Tower of Hoeth and thereby the overall leader of the High Elf mages. Commanding the Sword Masters, he is responsible for the suppression and persecution of the forbidden Cult of Pleasure[1c][2b][4b].
It seems that a High Loremaster usually serves for life and that his successor is chosen by the Council of Loremasters[1d][2c][3][4c]. The current High Loremaster is Teclis.
