The second edition of Blood Bowl was designed by Jervis Johnson and Marc Gascoigne and published by Games Workshop in June 1988.[1]

Expansions
Three expansions were released for Blood Bowl's second edition. Elves, Dwarfs & Dungeonbowl is a boxed supplement that introduced a new subterranean form of the game called Dungeonbowl, whilst Blood Bowl Star Players and Blood Bowl Companion are both source books that provided expanded rules, new teams, players and characters, as well as rules for running campaigns.
