The Naggaroth Nightmares are a Dark Elf Blood Bowl team.

History

They were originally the Naggaroth Nightwings but evolved to become the Nightmares.^[1]

In the 2420s, they dominated the Elven leagues under their new captain, Asperon Thorn and were one of the first teams to recruit heavily from the Cult of Khaine. This nearly caused a international incident in 2438 IC forcing the NAF to intervene and convince the rulers of Ulthuan that they would have to deal with their presence. ^[3]

In 2497 IC, the Nightmares defeated the Wolfenburg Crypt-stealers to win the Blood Bowl final.^[2a]

Cheerleaders

Some Dark Elves aspire to be Assassins or Witch Elves but if they are truly cruel and pitiless they join the Naggaroth Nightmares cheer squad - the Night Terrors. Vicious and vindictive, after one notable defeat they made a ‘commiseration’ banner out of the opposing team’s cheerleader squad.
