The Wolfenburg Crypt-stealers are a Undead Blood Bowl team based in the city of Wolfenburg.[1a]
History
The Mayor had tried several times to put his city on the Blood Bowl map, but players quickly became spooked and relocated. Eike was then approached by the Necromancer Vyktor Cryptborn who offered to create a team that would bring fame to the city and who would not cower in fear of the Forest of Shadows.[1a]
Provided with a laboratory and access to all morgues, crypts and graveyards Vyktor began to build his team. One of the early members was the mayors son and team captain, Doran von Raukov who had been killed after being tackled by a Minotaur.[1a]
During 2484 IC, the team began to achieve results after signing both Ghouls and Werewolf players. Mayor von Raukov died in 2494 IC but did not stay in his grave and continues to support his team as they entered the Chaos Cup.[1a]
Finally in 2497 IC, they reached the final of the Blood Bowl, playing against the infamous Naggaroth Nightmares, narrowly losing in extra time, 3-2.[1a]
