Badland Bruisers

The Badland Bruisers are a Ogre Blood Bowl team from the Badlands.[1a]
They have established a reputation as the Bad Ogres of Blood Bowl.[1a]
History
In 2489 IC for the Maw Day Belly Ball, they were amused to face the Talabecland Eagles but wanting the spice things up, the Bruisers convinced the Ogre Butcher organising the event, Bubbart Flayer to gave the humans a Slave Giant![1a]
The Eagles were mauled even before the match began when Gnoblars of the Bruisers stole much fo the food from the stadium larder and hid it in the Eagles dugout leading to a mass of angry, hungry ogres invading the dugout. The Bruisers quickly scored their fist touchdown as the Eagles struggled to deal with their new team mate and the brutal Ogre blitzers but the Eagles managed to achieve an equaliser in the last minutes of the first half.[1a]
With more Gnoblar attacks on the team as the second half began, the Ogres focussed on the giant, Greata Nailtooth managed to climb up and ride it (briefly) through the Eagles line, leading to a second score by the Bruisers. Other Ogres attempted to outdo their teammates feat until the Eagles managed to steal a gun from the leadbelcher stadium security detail and fire a Gnoblar across the eyeline of the increasing angry giant. He chased it, trampling the Ogres and smashing his way out the stadium to great acclaim by the watching crowd. The Eagles became honoured guests at the evening feast and were allowed to choose a single delicacy to be prepared by the Butchers.[1a]
The Ogres still speak highly of the special Minkleport broth that the humans requested.[1a]
