The Elector Count of Nordland is the ruler of Nordland, a province of The Empire. This noble title was usually passed on in a hereditary fashion. [3b]

Being of the fifteen Electors the counts of Nordland cast one of the votes in the election of a new Emperor. The last ruler of Nordland was Theoderic Gausser[1][2][3a]

They are de jure Princes of Marienburg but are forbidden upon pain of death to ever enter the city. [3b]
