Wei-jin

Wei-jin, also written as Wei-Jin and Weijin[4], is the capital city of Grand Cathay and seat of the Dragon Throne of the Celestial Dragon Emperor. [1][3][4]

It is located in northern Cathay, near the Dragon River and the eastern tip of the Great Bastion.[5]

History

In -3000 IC Xen Yang took the mantle of Celestial Dragon Emperor and founded Cathay and the city itself. Thousands of tribes settled in the new nation. The Dragon Emperor took the Moon Empress as his mate and with her had nine children. [4]

1310 IC saw devastating earthquakes destroyed large sections of the Great Bastion allowing Chaos armies to pour into the interior of Cathay, besieging both Nan-Gau and Wei-jin. [2]

C. 2000 IC, both the Dragon Emperor and the Moon Empress disappeared and left the running of their empire to their children. [4]

In 2276 IC Yuan Bo the Jade Dragon struggled to hold his fathers empire together and to control the Celestial Court of Astromancers while rebels and ambitious magistrates schemed, not helped by his siblings.[4]
