The Djinn are ancient elemental spirits that can be found in Araby. [1a]

They are able to take various forms including pillars of fire, horses composed of sand or warriors made of air. Complicated rituals are required to summon and bind them but they are able to provide power and knowledge long forgotten by mortals. [1a]

History

Sultan Jaffar was advised by several powerful Djinn, but some claim they were also led him to his downfall. Abdul Alhazred, the Mad Sorcerer was also able to see through their tricks and lies, partially due to his own madness. [1a]

The Sorcerer, Shihab Ibn Alim is able to summon and command Djinn, even having several as servants. [2a]
