The Badarra was a sixty-oar trireme commanded by the Arabyian Corsair Muhannad Ru'af. [1a]

It was painted red, white and gold and dominated by two mighty lateen masts with a a raised, crenellated fighting castle at the bow. [1a]

History

During the reign of terror caused by the Butcher Ship, Muhannad had seen no prey for weeks when he encountered the Rumour and Safire under Luka Silvaro who he attacked with his consort vessel, the Tariq. [1a]

However his crews were weak from lack of food and water and scurvy and were defeated, Ru'af captured and the Badarra left adrift and burning. [1b]
