Tariq

The Tariq was a forty-oar bireme commanded by the Arabyian Corsair Muhannad Ru'af. [1a]
It was painted red, white and gold and dominated by two lateen masts and a red boarding castle at the bow. [1a]
History
During the reign of terror caused by the Butcher Ship, Muhannad had seen no prey for weeks when he encountered the Rumour and Safire under Luka Silvaro who he attacked with own ship, the Badarra and the Tariq. [1a]
However his crews were weak from lack of food and water and scurvy and were defeated with the Tariq was destroyed by broadsides from the Safire, Ru'af captured and the Badarra left adrift and burning. [1b]
