Pinion of the Phoenix
From Warhammer - The Old World - Lexicanum
A Pinion of the Phoenix is a powerful magical talisman created by the High Elves. [1]
The ephemeral feathers are taken from the wings of a Phoenix and using ancient elven magic are preserved to become talismans. Noble families have handed them down through generations and they worn into battle as badges of honour. [1]
Powers
They not only provide a protective ward for the wearer but should they die, the feather will be consumed in a blaze of fire which restores the bearer and will burn those in the area. [1]
