Divine Magic
Divine Magic, also known as Miracles or Prayers are the Magical powers used by clerics and priests of the various gods of the Warhammer World. [1a]
It is unclear and sometimes hotly debated whether this is Magic granted directly by the deity invoked by the priest or follower or a manifestation of the faith of the invoker. Very few priests have any formal magical tuition and many would indeed consider it extremely distasteful to consider it whilst some cults regard wizardry with great suspicion. [1a]

High Elves
The nature of their worship blurs the difference between what Humans would consider clerics and wizards as worship mainly fulfills their need for mental, physical, and spiritual self-improvement. Prayers are seldom offered for divine intervention but instead they seek personal empowerment to overcome challenges or to strengthen their own mind and spirit against corruption. They believe that their gods are part of them and so each individual action or thought is an act of devotion to a specific deity. In this way, their bodies are living temples and honing their skills is an act of worship.[2a]
