Storm Weaver
A Storm Weaver are priests of Mathlann[1] and High Elf Archmages.[2]
They often serve as senior chaplains aboard vessels of the High Elf Fleet, most often ships that have Cothique or Lothern as their home port. Although Mathlann is considered to be one of the Cadai god, he is also the son of Ellinill, the Lord of Destruction and so many elves fear the mercurial Storm Weavers for their ability to summon his wrath. Should a Storm Weaver exhibit excessively reckless behaviour they might even be suspected of being servants of other darker gods.[1]
Storm Weavers can be found across the world as Reef shrines to Mathlann are located wherever Elves have sailed.[1]
Cothique
In Cothique, Mathlann is honoured as the king of sea creatures and his priests commune with Krakens, Merwyrms, and Megaladons. This priesthood will often clash with hunter-cults of Anath Raema who will pursue denizens of the deep with reckless abandon. [1]
