Huscarl
From Warhammer - The Old World - Lexicanum
The Huscarl are veteran Norse warriors. [1a][5]
They are often relatives of a Norse Chieftain as well as bodyguards and are led by powerful Hero. [1] [2] They defend the household banners, fighting with grim determination to repulse anyone who boards their lords ship, even if it costs them their lives. [3]

They are skilled in the ise of a variety of weapons and especially their shields.[4] Their lord equips and maintains them, leaving them plenty of time to train in battle. [2][3]
