Valgar
From Warhammer - The Old World - Lexicanum
Valgar the Butcher was a Norse Champion of Chaos who invaded Nehekhara and defeated Settra in battle. [1a]
Around -150 IC he led a large army on a raid against the shores of Nehekhara, shattering the undead legions sent to repel him before finally he was faced with Settra himself, riding to war on his golden chariot. The Tomb King decapitated Valgar's daemonic mount in a single swing but in return, the champions axe, blazing with unholy fire cut deep into Settra's chest and set him ablaze. [1a]
The spirit of the Imperishable exploded into a swarm of vengeance filled beetles that devoured the flesh of Valgar before flying back to his tomb. [1a]
Retinue
- Khagul Bloodfist: Lieutenant to Valgar, he survived the battle and claimed Settra's crown as a prize and returned home with twelve other Norse, bloodied but rich. [1a]
