Frydaal
Frydaal the Chainmaker was a Norscan Champion of Chaos Undivided from Norsca who attacked Westerland prior to the Great War Against Chaos. [1]
History
Following the lure of Chaos Frydaal traveled north and battled other Champions of Chaos in the Chaos Wastes before returning to Norsca infused with dark powers [1] including great strength and a pair of horns sprouting from her head. [2]
She became an inspirational raider who with a fleet of Wolfships raided coasts of the realms of man, pillaging and spreading the corruption of Chaos wherever she goes.[1]
In the 2270s IC Frydaal raided the town of Hollum on northern coast of the Westerland. Over the course of few years she created her own fiefdom north of Marienburg and as her raids continued, the power of Chaos grew and Beastmen settled into nearby forests.[1]
Over the winter, the Pretender Empress Elspeth Magritta VI mustered an army of mercenaries. In the spring she marched north with the sellswords and her regular army, hoping to catch the Norscans as they land, yet Frydaal had gotten to the lands of the Empire early and was waiting the Imperials. Stage was set for the first proper battle between the two forces.[1]
