Empire
The provinces and states of the Empire each have their favoured breeds - Averland horses are famous for their speed and strength, those of the Reikland are equally well known for their stamina and stubborness, and those of Marienburg are known for their turn of speed and their fierce nature. [3a]
Large and powerful destriers who can easily carry both their own armour and that of their riders are sought out by knights and officers whilst fast and agile mounts are needed for Pistoliers and Wizards. [3a]
