History
Captain van Gaal had left harbour following the Elf fleet that sailed out to destroy an approaching Plague fleet, hoping to find good salvage from the wrecked Norse ships. Instead they found the remnants of the Elf ships and discovered the vast scale of the enemy fleet approaching their home city. [1a]
