The Ice Guard of Kislev are an elite formation of warrior women, equally skilled with blade and bow. [1][2]
The members of the Guard are able to channel elemental Ice Magic like their Ice Queen, creating enchanted ice that wreaths their blades and arrow tips. [1]
The Guard form a bodyguard for the Ice Witches of the Ice Court, fearsome and fearless, all conditioned to put Kislev first even if they must face the vilest horrors of the Old World.[2]
Training
Suitable girls are sent to the Bohka Palace before they reach adolescence and then tested for their aptitude for magic. [2]
Weapons and Equipment
The Bows, Glaives and Swords the Guard are each imbued with ice magic, glowing with its own inner light.[2]
