Vladimir Mikael Kloszowski
Vladimir Mikael Kloszowski is a prince of Kislev, poet and a revolutionary. [1a]
History
Vladimir is the son of the Dowager Princess of Inkodeyna, a stronghold in Kislev.[1b]
She feared her son would be used by her enemies to remove her from her husband’s throne and so she sent her Vladimir away to the Empire to be educated. Although Kloszowski was a good student, from the moment he left the place he was struck and angered by the great difference between the rich and the poor. He left Altdorf university and began to travel, trying to understand the plight of the people and writing poems which he sent back to his friends. To his surprise, they published them and they even proved popular.[1b]
Returning to Altdorf, he was delighted to be welcomed as the champion of a revolution created by his poetry. As a fellow Kislevite, Yevgeny Yefimovich screamed out his anger, Kloszowski wrote a poem called The Ashes of Shame which described an infamous murderer as a noble making sport with the common folk. Yefimovich printed it in a pamphlet that circulated through every tavern in the city, the the revolution began and Altdorf burned.[1b] Kloszowski led the people of his revolution onto the streets of Altdorf but it quickly faltered, his followers were slaughtered, and Kloszowski was forced to flee.[1a]
He traveled to Estalia and Tilea, reading works from their libraries. Despite considering himself an atheist, he became an admirer of the Cult of Myrmidia having been inspired at how great words could unite people and even win battles. Taking the goddess as an example he sought to bring true revolution by educating the people but he resolved to hide his lessons behind comedy and tragedy.[1b]
