Marburg
Marburg was the capital city of the Endal tribe in the time of Sigmar. [1a]
It sat on a huge black rock, surrounded by heath and marshland. [1a]

History
The first settlement was said to be created by the Elves as an outpost. [1a]
By the time of the Endals, all that remained of the early building was a pale blue stone wall about 6 feet high [1a] although king Marbad did find various artefacts and the sword Ulfshard beneath the Raven Hall. [1c]

In 1 IC it suffered from a plague. [1b]
As Nagash attacked the newly formed Empire of Sigmar, two hundred ships crewed by the dead attacked the city, [2a] with many of the population fleeing towards Reikdorf. [2b]
Locations
Most of the buildings had stone foundations but were predominately wooden and suffered from damp. [1b]
- Raven Hall: Situated at the heart of the city, [1a] it was a majestic hall carved from volcanic rock in the shape of a great raven. [1b]
