Grondi's Ogre Leg Mk II
Grondi's Ogre Leg Mk II is a Ogre magic item created for Old Funder by the Dwarf Master Runesmith Grondi.[1]
History
When the Ogre Old Funder, he lost his leg in a battle when he was young and had trouble finding a artificial leg that could take his formidable weight. Finding employment with the Dwarfs he took his problem to him and was lucky enough to find a Runesmith who assigned the task to one his apprentices who he felt was talented but needed more self-confidence. After his first and highly ornate attempt broke when being test fitted, the apprentice continued his work, gaining access to various more advanced tomes left behind by his master who had been called away. using this knowledge, he was able to creat a masterful leg, even using some more advanced runes than he should really have known about.[1]
This leg proved to be as good if not better than his original and in a battle against an Orc army, he bellowed Charge at his lads and suddenly found his leg propelling him forwards, ploughing through ranks of orcs until the only greenskins left were running away.[1]
