Rigg is a Goddess of the Amazons. [1a]
She is depicted as tall humanoid figure. [1a]
Drivot the Diatribist claims that she married an Elf god of happiness, sea and wealth and their issue was Kalith, the Mother of all Amazons. However other writers note that there is no clear evidence that he actually travelled to any of the places of which he wrote, nor met any of the beings he professed to know so intimately. [2a]
Lizardmen
Although the Lizardmen know her as one of the Old Ones, they are wary of her followers and do not venerate her themselves. [1a]
Locations
- The Great Shrine of Rigg which stands on the shore of Lake Lokka commemorates the union of the two gods at the location where they brought into being Kalith. Her creation lies at the centre of the religious dogma of the Amazons. [3a] The Saga of Rothnikson also notes the Great Shrine of Rigg upon the shores of Lake Lokka. [2a]
She has a shrine on Amazon Island as the Mother of Kalith. [1a]
