History
She is said to have been defeated and imprisoned within a crystal coffin by the God of Chaos, [1a] Tzeentch. [5a]
The crystal keys needed to free her were given over to Chaos by a Kislevite named Walpurgis the Nasty.[2a] The coffin itself though found it's way to his son, Walpurgis the Digger, whose grandson, a wizard from Praag who was also named Walpurgis, sought out the champion named Kaleb Daark to locate the keys that would free her.[3a] It is not known whether Daark ever found any of the keys, though he was opposed by servants of both Khorne and the Horned Rat.
Prison
Her prison beneath Praag requires crystal keys to open it, but it is not even known how many are required.[1a]
Local Legend
In Anton Denisovich’s opera The Girl in Glass it is the Goddess of Purity, who will save the world from Chaos, who lies in a coffin buried beneath Praag. She can only be freed by the kiss of a cursed Chaos Warrior and although he does so due to his love for her, he knows that she will destroy him when she is freed.[4a] Scam artists offer the gullible a chance to see the coffin in exchange for a fee, but the girl inside it will merely be some young woman hired to lie there for the purposes of the scam.[4a]
