Elandro
Elandro is a Wood Elf lord and Dragonrider. [1a]
History
Whilst leading a scouting patrol in the Chasm Glades he witnessed Dwarf Dragonslayers fighting and killing a Forest Dragon although her last blows also finished the Dawi. In the aftermath, Elandro found a sole surviving egg from the clutch she had been protecting which he took back to his home and with the aid of his kin, Taera Catnimble raised the hatchling. [1c]
As the Dragon grew, Elandro moved from scouting to the Waywatchers but once Mellanor was fully grown, he patrolled the Meadow Glades atop the huge creature. [1c]
He swooped down on the last survivor of a Dark Elf force raiding Bretonnia which has sought to escape their pursuers by fleeing into Athel Loren. As the lone Sorceress stood alone in a glade, he and Mellanor descended from the skies and landed before her - knowing her death was upon her, she summoned all her pride and stared balefully at the Wood Elf Lord, Elandro. However, mistaking her hatred for a maidens courage, Elandro bade her depart the forest in peace. [1a]
However by accepting quarter from the enemy and leaving her sisters to rot in the woods, Lady Ember Vaingloire had brought shame on her family. She would later lead a new army across Bretonnia to the outskirts of the Meadow Glades, bringing many ways - mundane and magical to burn the woodlands. [1b]
