He is notably infested with Nurglings who cavort and dance within his flesh creating tunnels of bile spewing foulness. He is extremely fond of and protective of his children who constantly search within him for ever more exciting and exotic diseases and plagues. [1a]

He keeps the soul of the Elf wizard Darlorhan entangled in vines within the Garden of Blight, using it to conenct him to Laurelorn Forest. [1a]
