Iron Rock

Iron Rock is a Orcs & Goblins stronghold in the northern Badlands. ^{[1] [2]}

The stronghold is located in the north of the Badlands, in the shadows of the Thunder Mountain. ^[1][2]

History

The rich seams of minerals led the Dwarfs to open up substantial mine workings but were driven out by the Orcs and Goblins. ^[1][2]

In c. 1700 IC it was taken from the Dwarfs by Orc Warboss Gorbad Ironclaw of the Ironclaw Tribe and built into a strong fastness. The Greenskins have held it for 800 years after taking it from the Dwarfs.^{[1] [2]}

In c. 1705 IC the Ironclaws fought with the Dwarfs and the Broken Tooth Tribe. Gorbad Ironclaw killed his rival Crusher Zorgoth of the Broken Tooths by a sudden stampede of Cave Squigs. This united the tribes under him into his Waaagh! Gorbad that went to invade the Empire. ^{[1] [2]}

Many famous tribes have made it their fortress over the years. ^[2]
