Thunder Mountain
From Warhammer - The Old World - Lexicanum
Thunder Mountain is a mountain inhabited by tribes of Night Goblins tribes of the Waaagh! Grom and Drakk Cultists. Deep within its bowels, in the Halls of Dreams, rests the Dragon called Azorgaron.[1]
History
Before it was lost to the greenskins it was known as Karag Dron.[4a]
The most skilled of the Dwarf Runelords of old, Kurgaz used Gromril to create the anvils and beat the Rune of Sorcery into them in the forges beneath the Mountain. However, a Dragon attacked and broke open the mountain, killing Kurgaz and many of his peers and destroying its forges.[3a][4a]
Grom the Paunch first conquered the mountain and the Goblin and Night Goblin tribes beneath it, gathering strength for his rampage across the Empire and beyond.[2a]
