Axlotl
Axlotl, the Star City [3a] was a Temple-City of the Lizardmen. [1a]
History
The city was created by the Fourth Spawning of the Slann before the creation of the World Pond. [2a]
It has fallen several times, firstly to Daemons after the destruction of the Warp Gates and later by Skaven. [3a]
In 1351 IC it was attacked by a horde of Zombie Pirates under Luthor Harkon and its defenders slaughtered despite valiant rearguard efforts. Skink Priests manage to carry many precious artefacts away before the city falls but some fall into the hands of the vampire. [1a]
The Zombies destroy the city completely, so it is said not a single stone still stands upon another. [1a]
The city is reconsecrated by the Slann and guarded by Chameleon Skinks, whilst Mage Priests sit upon tall pillars atop the rebuilt pyramids. Whilst contemplating the heavens, they also produce a barrier that frustates Harkon's further expansion. [4a]
