The Bloody Tusks Tribe formed the core of the Waaagh![3]

Waaagh! Spine-Cracker was a invasion of northern Bretonnia by the Orc Warboss Spine-Cracker in approximately 2276 IC. [1a]

History

From the Pale Sisters mountain range the greenskin horde attacked the provinces of Couronne, Gisoreux, Montfort and Artois, destroying countless villages and setting the countryside ablaze. [1b][2][3]

So huge was the energy generated by the greenskins that it could be sensed by other Orcs & Goblins as far away as the Badlands where the shamans serving Kiknik Toofsnatcha urged him to join the invasion. The Goblin Warboss saw the opportunity and gathered his warriors to form his own Waaagh! Kiknik. [1a]

Unable to resist the hordes alone, the Duke of Couronne asked King Louen Orc-Slayer for urgent aid - the King declared an Errantry War and marshalled his knights to ride against the greenskins. [1b]

Yet facing the Waaagh! prevented the Bretonnian King sending reinforcements to Cecil Gastonne when Tomb King Settra the Imperishable invaded the Border Princes during the War in the Border Princes. [2]

Trivia

The connection of this Waaagh! to Durgath Spine Cracker and his Waaagh! Durgath that occurred in same area of Bretonnia over thirty years earlier is so far unknown.

According to The Old World Website, Couronne is ruled by Duchess Chambray D’Axauex[3] instead of a Duke[1b]. Potentially a mistake or perhaps the husband of Chambray sent request for aid.
