History
In life
He is said to have repelled the desert dwellers three times, easily, and outlived most of his princes, ruling for such a time as to make some believe him to go on for ever.[1]
The Scarab king of Numas, Rahmohtep was his great rival and they fought many battle, meeting on the field more than once. However although Rakaph grew old, even outliving his sons, Rahmohtep seemed to be unaging. [2a]
He was followed by Queen Rasut [1] who continued the war against Rahmohtep. [2b]
Undeath
When Duke Letos Gardumar of Bretonnia sought the Grail in a crypt within his domain, he rose with his army and attacked the invaders. Soon only the Duke was left and the two nobles fought, Rakaph raining blows down on the enemy but Letos spied a weakness and plunged his blade through the Tomb King's breastplate. Yet when the Bretonnia tried to pull it free a black film enveloped first his sword and then touched his skin, ageing him a hundred years in seconds. [3]
