Aiyah was a handmaiden to Queen Neferata in ancient Lahmia. [1a]

History

In -1598, Ubaid, Grand Vizier to King Lamashizzar poisoned Neferata with the Venom of the Sphinx with only the Elixir of Eternal Life preventing her from dying immediately. Arkhan the Black brought her body into the Women's Palace and it was Aiyah who led him to the queens bedchamber as he had asked, not questioning that her mistress had been poisoned. As Arkhan tried desperate magic to try and save Neferata, Aiyah remained and assisted him in the rituals. [1a]

For the next five days they laboured together unceasingly until Akhan thought he had the soloution and as he chanted the incantation, Aiyah sliced open the Queen's throat and as the blood began to drain away, Arkhan offered his blood to her. However all their efforts seemed to fail as the queen seemed to shrivel up and die. [1a]

She fled the palace and eventually made her way to Lybaras where she informed Queen Khalida of what she had seen. In -1597 IC, she travelled back to Lahmia with Khalida who confronted Neferata before the other gathered monarchs of the cities of Nehekhara. [1b]
