Volroth is one of the Watch Towers of Naggaroth, Dark Elf fortresses that guard the northern body of Naggaroth against Chaos incursions. [1]

It had obsidian walls and in the 2520's IC it had a garrison of around 80,000. [1]
History
End Times
As the End Times began, Valkia the Bloody led the Bloodied Horde, a great army of northmen, across the Ironfrost Glacier and into Naggaroth. She caught the Dark Elves off guard and took many of the towers before Volroth finally managed to warn their kin. [1]
However when General Ebnir Soulflayer rode with reinforcements to its aid, he found that it had already fallen and only cairns of skulls remained of its garrison. [1]
