Bloab Rotspawned
Bloab Rotspawned, the Lord of the Daemonflies is a Chaos Sorcerer of Nurgle.[1]
History
As a child he was fascinated by smaller creatures although this expressed itself through sadism - pulling the legs of snow spiders and trapping ice moths in skulls sealed with wax until they starved to death. Although he went to war against the Kvellig and the Tong, he always returned to his passion for torturing the tiny creatures that could be found in the chill north.[1]
Grandfather Nurgle has a place in his heart for all life and he was offended by this young and powerful warrior mutilating tiny creatures. Like many of his tribe, he had been gifted unnaturally thick skin and the Plague God thought he should be using the potent reward to defeat his enemies.[1]
Consequently as Bloab was sleeping in a cave near the Forest of Decay, Nurgle sent a great swarm of Daemonflies that dived into his throat and down into his body. Once there they laid their eggs in his guts, heart and lungs. As the daemonfly larvae hatched, Bloab awoke in agony as the creatures began to eat him alive from within. Soon there was nothing left of their screaming host but his toughened skin, sustained by the power of his god.[1]
The daemonic flies hatched and began to emerge from his mouth, each buzzing with affection for their host. Since that day, Bloab has become increasingly favoured by Grandfather and whilst walking in the garden of his lord, Bloab found a pair of bells hanging from his scythe which boost his power and disrupt the concentration of rival wizards.[1]
When he successfully gifted the plague known as the Black Blossoms to the Tong, he was gifted with a new friend, the Maggoth Bilespurter.[1]
