Morbidex Twiceborn

Morbidex Twiceborn is a Chaos Champion of Nurgle.[2]

He is known as the Bastard King of Icehorn Peak to many of his enemies.[2]

History

He was born as his mother's village was burning down and he was badly disfigured by the flames.[2]

As he grew up he quickly became renowned for his fighting prowess, skills and will of iron that saw him become the chieftain of his tribe. After his shamans told him that Tzeentch, the Great Architect was the bringer of the flames of change he vowed to take revenge on it.[2]

Despite his shamans being horrified at the proclamation, he set out for the Realm of Chaos to seek aid from the enemy of his enemy, Grandfather Nurgle. He was undaunted by the strangeness he saw as he headed further and further north and eventually, the Garden of Nurgle came to him, spilling out to transform reality as the Winds of Magic blew strongly.[2]

Climbing up Icehorn Peak, he was enveloped by a tide of Nurglings who tumbled down to the foot of the mountain where he lost consciousness buried alive in portly little Daemons. When he awoke he was swimming amongst squishy bloated bodies in a morass of putrid liquid. As he thrashed about, Little Bubo, the boldest Nurgling came to him and asked him to solve a riddle which he did. Next was Bull Boil who did the same and again he answered correctly.[2]

Again and again was a riddle posed and as he answered he had a group of Nurglings who were trying help him out of the morass and others who touched and transformed part of his body when he failed. Finally, frustrated he caught a Nurgling and popped it like a oversized spot - and found his face shifting to that of the Daemon he had just squashed. Now he surged out of the mass and laughed manically and ever since he has been accompanied by a mass of jubilant nurglings.[2]

He was offered a position of Jarl by Orghotts Daemonspew who had recognised a kindred spirit, but only if he could conquer a beast larger than a Nurgling! He stomped off to the Eternal Lagoon and overcame a rampaging Maggoth, his Nurglings frolicking inside its stomach when they were swallowed. Soon the beast had mingled their essence with its own and became a devoted follower of the Twiceborn.[2]

Morbidex's Mites

He was accompanied into battle by a veritable carpet of cheering nurglings but who could themselves overwhelm prey through sheer weight of numbers.[1]

Powers

He is blessed with Nurgle's Rot.[2]
