Brigand

Brigands are ruffians who join the armies of Bretonnia. [1a]

Often they become bandits when they are disbanded [1a] whilst some leave their homeland to fight as Mercenaries. [1b] Some have lost their lords and have little option but to roam the land seeking new lords who have need of reliable fighting troops. Often they will have taken part in the many small wars that are fought between rival lords and gained a fearsome reputation. [2a]
