Reynard le Chasseur

Reynard le Chasseur (Reynard the Hunter) is a famous knight from Artois[1] in Bretonnia.
He is known throughout the land for his deep passion for hunting. Reynard is an expert hunter and has developed such skill with his boar spear that he carries it into battle in place of a traditional lance. He also rides with a hunting hawk that will attack any foes that engage Reynard in combat. [2]
Rather than Knights, he often leads his Squires into battle as he treats battle like a hunting expedition. His squires are inspired by his presence and less likely to panic or flee. [2]
Heraldry
Reynard's coat of arms is Per pale Gules and Sable, a boar's head erased between three fleur-de-lis Argent, within a bordure per pale Or and Gules.[2]
Hounds
Reynard is alway accompanied by Groffe and Griffe, a pair of wolf-hounds. Groffe and Griffe follow Reynard into battle and fight with more ferocity than any other hunting dogs in Bretonnia. They are the most loyal of companions and will defend their master with their lives.[2]
