Laskar Noircouer
Laskar Noircouer, the Blackhearted is a Necromancer Lord from Quenelles. [1a]
He is known as one of the cruellest Necromancers ever to plague Bretonnia. [1a]
Appearance
The many years of using Dark Magic have made him emaciated and disfigured, his face skull-like and his body little more than a skeleton. [1a]
History
Laskar was born in Quenelles but spent many years learning Necromancy in the Vaults before returning home and founding a cult to help prepare for the day when his armies would conquer the kingdom. The Duke of Quenelles however, an enemy of the Lichemaster, had Witchunters in his domain and many of Laskar's followers were found and burnt at the stake. Noircouer himself had to flee the province. His next target was the ancient cairns of Athel Loren, seeking their dead whilst eveading the Wood Elf hunting parties. [1a]
Weapons and Equipment
- 4th Edition: Sword. May have Magic Items, usually including the Biting Blade and the Skull Staff. May be mounted on a Skeletal Steed. [1a]
- Biting Blade: Bearing potent spells of sharpness and honed with Dragon's teeth. [1a]
- Skull Staff: It warns him of magic being used against him or the magical artefacts that enemies carry. [1a]
